I tried to install FAF on Debian Linux on my £180 Dell Latitude 5520 laptop. Tried to follow online instructions. A few times. Gave up in the end, bought a 2nd SSD and now run Linux most the time from 1 SSD and Windows 11 from the 2nd when I want a bit of FAF. Not ideal, but it works as a pragmatic solution. Or to be more precise, I got the FAF client working. Couldn't get Forged Alliance to work properly.
Got it working on Linux quite some time ago and just don’t touch it much ;-) Windows is not an option as I haven’t used that in 20 years and don’t want to go back - Mac OS sadly doesn’t support faf… afaik
For what it's worth I like your casts.
39:30 r u watching the same game as me 😂
Maybe I should try to reinstall it on Linux to see if it changed since the last time
my 1v1 are on no share
the problem with full share is they almost always go late game is just so predicable
nothing wrong with a shorter game
With lots of players they tend to.
3v3's - eg matchmaker 3v3's, often end at the T1, T2 or early T3 stage.

@@TheCrimsonKnight. My game works fine (on Bazzite OS, but basically using Proton) but I always crash x minutes into a match
@@dhruvb38 I couldn't even get a battle to start on Debian.
All very frustrating.
Until I gave in and added a Windows SSD to my laptop.
@@lint8391 yeah I’m probably going to do the same
