You don't need to harvest the whole salad at once. Cut off the largest leaves and after a while new leaves will grow on the plants

Why add the clay pellets on top?

If light shines on the rockwool cubes or into the box it might cause algea growth. Some light can pass into the box in the gap between the rockwool cubes and the netpots. Also the lid lets through a little light. We also think it looks good 😉 It will probably work fine without the pebbles as well👍🌱
