I just got mine today (MTGB3000D1A9) and set it up via Bluetooth , I appreciate this video because I don’t want to totally rely on my phone to 11:33 access functions , thanx ! I like the quick connect band for cleaning purposes if nothing else , I am really happy to add this one to my collection ! .. subscribed !

1. upper right button move the hands out of the way.
2. it used the g shock app.
3. its much easier to see the time

Great video, do you know how to set RC manually, instructions say hold D button but this doesn't do anything.
Pls, does it have alarm sound?
Is there any benefit to using the RC feature, as with Bluetooth it looks like it syncs several times a day.
Will this watch fit on 6inch wrist? I want to buy it but Im afraid that my wrist is too small.
that Frogman at the end also has just one alarm?
Good review. I still don't like the color options of the b3k but I the overall design of this one is more refined than its predecessors. The b2k looks over designed and silly imo. Thanks for posting.

I am so disappointed this model has only one alarm. I use all 5 alarms on all my Casio watches and it seems a tradeoff which is very hard for me to make... but having everything in analog view, so, so tempting as well.

As long as sun or light available occasionally it'll last indefinitely but in darkness its something like five months before sun needed again

Are there any aftermarket straps or bracelets available now? Because you’re right, I don’t see the benefit of the quick release if there are no other options to replace it with.
maybe u can go custom leather band...
Can I buy a nato strap for this one? I couldn’t find any aftermarket bands that use this push button quick release system.

Looks like from instructions the only difference is the hands move to noon and the crown moves em like regular watch with year month etc to follow after pressing bottom left

I just checked the second hand moves to 12 the hour minutes stay put but move together so almost exactly as froggy

@@wildaboutwatches no I mean handshift, the function that put the hands out of the way, like that you're able to read the sub dials easily. On the MTG-B2000 for exemple you can do that by pressing the up left button (A button) and the hour and minute hand go to a position that is letting you read the subdials.

The description says it's a replacement for the b1000 and b2000. I don't think this is necessarily true. In my humble opinion gshock makes variants, not better versions which would make the previous models obsolete. Beside a mtg,
I own different gsteels (b100, b200 and b300) and must say one isn't better per se than the other, just different. 😎

Hey Hey, did you buy this watch? My wrist is very small and I'm afraid it wont fit.
I’m so torn on this watch. I don’t really like metal bracelets usually and I’m not a huge fan of the Color’s on these. I like the red dial but I don’t like the purple looking links. I like the blacked out version on the rubber strap but it’s probably super hard to read as the hands are also black. If the red dial came with a rubber black strap I’d buy it right away

Can you see the stopwatch in the app? Can't on the MT-G B1000, so hard to tell the count on that.
No u can't. You can only set the timer and clock. Also other special features.. sad thing is, I just tested manual hand adjustment function in the app. I'm not sure how it actually, when i hit left it goes right, i hit right it went left.. but in the end I managed to set the dial nicely on the date area. Sad .this watch made in japan. Should be accurate

5 months without access to light
Eventhough I think analog is no longer relevant these days, to use those timer/stopwatch features. I think this is gonna be my next watch. could be my end game watch. I just love the look, so cool and manly. Currently wearing Gshock G steel gst300, which is smaller brother.
For enthusiasts of all things watches such as myself, analog is never irrelevant and I think it should never be regardless. There's a difference in reading vs perceiving time and analog is more appropriate for the latter. I'm still waiting for a gshock that does both analog timing functions and quad sensors for all my adventures -- now that's an endgame watch for me

Awesome and cool looking watch. The urethane strap fits my small wrist better than standard Gshock 6900. Note: might be a problem for some people, the hour minute dials are in grey colour, a bit hard to see.
I also need to clean the glass regularly due to the narrow bezel offset, compared to the standard Gshock 6900. The watch is super nice in real life, reflecting the lights in different colours
@@barberismeable Nice. I just happen to see one at my nearest dealer today. They are nice indeed. And yeah the all black dial could be problematic but it is really cool. I had the new Seiko 5 diver in all black and had to return it because I couldn't see the time in low light e.g. when watching tv with lights off. At least this Casio has a backlight. Still contemplating on what color to get although the red and green ones aren't so bad actually. The colors are very subdued until direct light hits it. I might get the red one and just sandblast the heck out of the color on the strap.
How durable is the pvd coating?

No scratches or marks yet but I wear various watches so it's not on me 24/7. Probably pretty decent though I'd imagine
don't worry. My cheaper gsteel gshock coating still good like new after 3 years everyday

The analogue froggy I got from dealer paid full price unfortunately lol got 6 g shocks 6 rollies plus the fifty fathoms and got another different brand on way watch this space
@@wildaboutwatches I almost bought the frogman but the ability to only set the tide graph through the app kind of threw me off and I like the fact that it doesn't actually have a depth sensor..
