I used to be a goalkeeper in my teens and early twenties. Started when they picked me to be one as an 8 yr old and never changed back because I really liked it. Trainings were hard... there was more than one time that I literally crawled back to the locker rooms because I was totally beat. especially when it rained and your outfit weighed a ton from being soaked... I hated it when an open wound on your hip was healing and the skin that was growing back on it came off again and it started bleeding again. But I had a great career and lots of fun until a meniscus injury ended it... I'm originally from Be lgium and we always had great goalkeepers. They even say our Thibaut Courtois is the best ing the world at this moment....
Hopefully your ice hockey team also gets better, they are still trying to reach the top division. Maybe one day. It's a very exciting sport and ice hockey goalies have to wear a lot of equipment and train, not just a wet shirt
