I am 79 I tried adult coloring 2 years ago and my rheumatoid disease was so bad in my wrists and hands that I just could not do it. I am on different medication now and have changed my diet so I have less inflammation. I came across my books and pencils and tried again. I can do it now. I still watch how long I can do it without it bothering my hands and I can do about an hour and that is how long I can sit. I have been watching videos and learning. I have found something that makes me happy
I'm so glad you can resume coloring and have found joy in it. Have you tried paint? It may be less strenuous. I did a recent review on my youtube channel of a fun product called Viviva colorsheets. th-cam.com/users/truenortharts
I can't believe how much I didn't know about coloring with colored pencils. You have opened my eyes, and I feel like a sponge, I just can't soak up enough. I ordered the 132 set of Presmacolor pencils and my new book to help with my stress and help get my thoughts away from acute pain. I had just taken painting lessons and painted two pictures when I got hurt and have been bedridden for the past six years. My husband is a very understanding man, but painting in bed would be a little much. Last week my facebook group started sharing coloring and how much it helps with stress. I was hooked, I did some when my grandkids were small. I bought a book for myself, and I would color with them. I can't wait for my order to arrive, I will be doing so many things differently. Thank you for your input, I will be checking in to see what's new, and reviewing what I learned. I love your attitude, I can tell you love what you do. First thing tomorrow I am going to download a few pages so I can start while I'm waiting for my order. Thank you again, you have made a very sad person happy and given me something to look forward to. Donna S.
I'm so glad I ran into this video ....I am Heba from Egypt , I first knew Mandala from a really talented nice person here in Egypt how is the founder of Cairo coloring club ; I took a couple of courses with her and since then I believe I've found my passion ; I just love the peace and joy it gives me . I'm a little bit more fond of designing but also this coloring video made me want to color more. Definitely I'll be one of your followers and wish to join your community ..... Thanks a lot Kathryn.
Lovely to meet you Heba from Egypt. I love how mandalas are so universal and people all over the world enjoy them. May 2017 bring you many hours of mandala creative joy!
i bought Prismacolor pencils for adult coloring books. I found your video when doing a search on how to use them. I am so excited - your video was succinct and gave lots of good information that a beginner like me can use. I also taught math and can't wait to get out my retired (like me) compass and do some drawing. Construction was my favorite part of geometry and this just takes it to a new level! Can't wait to view more of your videos. Thanks so much!
Thank you lovely ( nameless) lady… watching you from ITALY where I have just discovered Mandalas with books given me by a friend. I am an old lady (86) and no longer able to walk and enjoy movements so colouring Manadalas will be a great project. I just love the way you present things and have taken notes… will be back for more! Don't know if I can get Prisma colour here in Itay …. please go on with your simply wonderful work. Good luck from Paola Mirella Wright in Italy.
Hi Mirella. Thanks for leaving a comment. My name is Kathryn Costa and I am the author of "The Mandala Guidebook" www.100mandalas.com/book. I hope to get to Italy in a couple of years to celebrate my 50th birthday. My grandmother's parents came from Calitri, Italy. Enjoy your discovery of mandalas.
I am new to coloring and you gave me some really good ideas. Only wished I would have looked you up before I bought my pencils. I learned the hard way about student and professional pencils. You just taught me how to blend and use my blending sticks. I am very thankful. Now I am trying to learn how people use eye shadows for backgrounds. I can't wait to get to Michaels and pick my needed supplies. If you have any advice on the eye shadow skill I would love to see it used by a professional. Thanks for the great tips.
I'm so glad that you enjoyed the video and pulled some good techniques and tips from it. I have zero experience with eye shadows. I suggest searching TH-cam. There are so many talented people online who are generously sharing what they know.
I so enjoyed this creative journey. Your explanations are easy to understand along with the visual blending techniques. This video is a wealth of information and an incentive to improve my coloring efforts. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
Your videos are fantastic! You have a very easy going and inviting way, and you share your knowledge so JOYFULLY. Thanks so much. I am thrilled to be part of this!
+Eileen Gavin Larsen ahhhh shucks! I think you picked up on how much I love to share what I know. Thanks for taking the time to comment. It means the world to me.
WOW , new to colouring .. some great tips here .I am sure I am going to enjoy this new hobby . Your video make it all seem so doable . I feel welcome already ! Thank you !
Hi Kathryn, great video, so well produced. Love the fractal imagery in the beginning morphing to your logo. And the gamsol looks most intriguing. Learned a lot. Thanks.
+Sue O'Kieffe Thanks Sue. I'm happy to see that you learned a lot from my video. I'm having fun with these videos. Wait until you see my Torus video. I think you'll like my method and how I break it down. Sure do wish I could drop the day job...imagine what I could do with ALL of that time!
I started using coloring books and I wasn’t sure how to achieve all the nice colors. I went through several Utube videos and didn’t come away knowing much. However I came across your video and was very impressed how you took the time to explain and show how to do things without rushing through it. After viewing this video I realized that it is easy because of the way you taught it. I have a better knowledge of how to color mandalas and from now on will use 100 Mandalas as a point of reference. That was a great video and thanks for teaching it.
Fantastic! I'm so glad you took away so much from this video. I have more videos on coloring techniques with other mediums in my Color I course. I also have a Mandala Drawing I course that will get you started drawing your mandalas with 10 video lessons. Here are some links if this sounds interesting to you: www.100mandalas.com/color www.100mandalas.com/draw They are priced to be affordable and when you sign up you get lifetime access. Have fun with your new colored pencil techniques. Kathryn
I found this video so clear and easy to follow. You have a lovely speaking voice and the best close-up videoing I have found for these tutorials. I wanted to know more about blending techniques using fluids like colourless blender markers and Gamsol. So thank you for your very clear explanations for how to use these. I have now subscribed to your channel and shared this video to two FB groups.
Wonderful! thank you so much for sharing the video. Right now new videos for this channel are on hold. My video projects are focused on tutorials for my online community and workshops. You may be interested in my upcoming color workshop. Check it out here: www.100mandalas.com/color

+2105oppenheimer I hear ya! Isn't it fun to discover new techniques and materials? I'm always learning something new. Just think of where you'll take your mandala practice!
OMG! Thank you so much for this video. I have some coloring books, & a novice at coloring. However, your video lets me know I can color & not be embarrassed. I greatly appreciate your voice & teaching skills.
Hi Kathy, working my way through the class :) I think I will have pencils as my medium for a bit. I bought an Arteza tin, and now after watching this vid I have bought a prismacolor sharpener and some Gamsol :) Oh and some blending stumps! Got to go, going to go play mandala.....
This was a great video to watch. I learned so much about blending, shading, and coloring in general. I have many different colored pencils, gel pens, markers, and highlighters. I need to get some Gamsol. Thank you for the video. Will be looking for more.
I'm so glad you found my video helpful! Check out my community, the Sharing Circle. It's free to join and there is lots of inspiration, monthly mandala challenges, and more. www.100mandalas.com/community.
Thank you for such an informative video. I have tried to watch other similar videos, but I just haven't learned much. You are so knowledgeable and easy going, that I found it very easy to understand what you were explaining and found that I learned so much. I subscribed to your channel and I can't wait to watch more videos! You're so inspirational and insightful! Thank you.
loving these videos. I just bought some open stock prismacolors colors and l9vr them. my other favorites are koh-i-noor. I also have derwent but prefer the prismacolor and the koh-i-noor. I love the prismacolor colorless blending pencil, but now need to try the gamsol. I had never heard of it before this video. Thanks for all these ideas and knowledge. I can't wait for the torus video!
+Amy Fratto I'm so happy Amy that you are enjoying these videos. I haven't tried the koh-i-noor. Maybe Santa will put some in my stocking this year. Have fun playing with colored pencils.
this is the first video i watch for you .. i liked your way of explaining.. you are talking slowly and clearly which why i can understand it easly as English is not my first language .. you've got a new subscriber taa from Egypt .. thank you so much for this amazing videos :)
Thank you! Most of the tutorials that I've created since this one are now available as courses. Mandala Drawing I (www.truenortharts.com) and Color I (www.truenortharts.com/color). I've packed both of these courses and offer them at a super affordable prices. You get lifetime access. I love teaching and I'm glad you enjoyed the videos.
Hello , I hope when you read my comments ,you will be ok and I hope your weekend will going well . I like your teaching style ,you speak clearly and listener can understand easily.I love and like prismacolour pencils .Today I first time listen your valued lesson, some blending techniques were new for me and I like gamsole blending.I am thankful to you.
I have ordered the prisma color pencils the set of 132 colors and I am so happy but I am little bet sad because i forget to order the colorless blender so I am going to use the white color as you told in the video 😊👍🏻😇
Thank you so much for sharing all these great tips! Amazing tutorial and so easy to follow :-) I wanted to add that you could also use Isopropyl Alcohol, 90% or higher. It is so smooth, and the alcohol content is so high that it evaporates almost instantly after your done blending. It won't damage, pill, or buckle your paper, and it has sort of a rich watercolor look to it. And it blends colors beautifully. Great for beginners too :-)
+Elizabeth Clothier Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try it! Not crazy about the alcohol smell but I can certainly get over it quickly if the results are beautiful.
Awesome!!! Can't wait to download the two different 100 Mandalas. Thank you so much for what you have taught on this video. I didn't realize there was an odorous medium liquid for blending. I am a brand new baby to Adult Colouring but I am already addicted to it. I have been watching a lot of tutorials and videos on the many mediums I can to use to colour with, as well as learning about the different paper to colour on. Our daughter -in love and our son bought me the Lost Ocean....An Inky Adventure & Colouring Book by Johanna Basford as a Christmas Gift, they had no idea I have been wanting to try Adult Colouring but because it is so popular on TH-cam and Facebook, our Daughter thought I would like it. Thank you for this video!!! Blessings!!!
+Debbie You are in for hours of relaxation and fun! I'm happy that you enjoyed the video. I have plans on sharing more coloring techniques in future videos. Maybe one day, you'll try your hand out at creating your own mandalas. I show you just how easy it is. But be warned it is super addictive!
I've recently gotten a full set of Prismacolor scholar pencils, and I find that using them almost feels more like painting in slow, controllable motion. I also picked up a couple of colorless blending pencils, a liquid blending pen specifically for pencils, and some eraser pens. I'm finding each has its strong points, and I'm really enjoying using them all. I'll have to look at gamsol- is it the same as odorless paint thinner? Ahhh, so much to learn, and what fun learning! Thank you for your video, it's helped me think about what I'm doing and why!
+Laynie Fingers - Awesome. I really am infatuated with colored pencils. It is fun to erase and lift off a little color and then bring in another color too. Yes, paint thinner is the same as the mineral spirits only it is less refined.
+Laynie Fingers - Would you be willing to share which specific colorless blending pencils, liquid blending pen specifically for pencils & eraser pens you got? I'm new to this and would like to find out more.
+Dee Binggeli Absolutely! There's room for ALL of us to learn and share and help each other! I may do a video about what I'm using and what I'm learning, but until then... I'm using Prismacolor Colorless Blending Pencil. The number is PC1077, and I got two in a pack from Amazon. I'm also using the Artist's Loft Colored Pencil Blender, which I bought at Michaels Crafts. I think you can probably find something similar on ebay or amazon. The erasers are Pentel Clic Eraser ZE22. I saw a pack of I think 3 at Walmart, and I'm sure you can find them online. I'm also using the black oval Prismacolor eraser from blending and lifting color, but it's so old all the writing has worn off. I still love it, though! I hope this helps you!
Katheryn, thanks to you I didn't waste money before buying my first set of colored pencils. Took your advise and bought Prisma Colored wax pencils and so glad I did. I'm new at designing/creating but it's giving me spiritual and mental healing. Do you have any thoughts on a clear spray I could purchase to spray my finished designs to make the color pop even more and protect?
Hi, i really enjoyed your videos on how to. I am a beginner senior. With a mandalas color by number. I got it for a gift. I am having a problem with trying to get the correct pencils to match or what to blend to get the correct colors they ask for. I bought a color chart, and i have markers that i have used on other designs. I will invest in other pencils & i will try the Gamsol also. Thanks for your help.
+Linda - I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Being the creative sort that I am, I'd pick my own colors for the numbers. Have fun with your new mandala coloring book and know that it is YOUR coloring book. You don't have to follow the "color rules." Let your imagination run wild!
So glad you like this video. Most of my color technique videos are not on this channel but in my color course. If you are looking for more, this may interest you. www.truenortharts.com/color
@@TrueNorthArts thanks. I've colored tons of mandalas and I never get tired of them. Just got a mandala book with black backgrounds. Can't wait to get into it!! What colored pencils do you recommend? I'm a ♎. Is there a mandala for ♎?
+Lori Spitz - In this year I will be offering classes on color. The best way to learn about upcoming TH-cam videos and classes, subscribe to my newsletter. I have lots of wonderful things planned for 2016. Subscribe here: ub283.infusionsoft.com/app/form/newsletter-100mandalas
Thank you for the info on coloring. I enjoyed it and learned so much from your video, especially the blending techniques. It's hard to find materials that you use in your videos. I live in New Zealand & most of the products used in most american videos (arts & craft) are either not sold here or they are very very expensive to buy (if they have them) in our stores. Using Ebay or Amazon, is probably a great way to buy things from, but I get put off buying there because of the shipping cost. For instance, a 72 pack of prismocolor pencils cost $150 where I live..that is something I cannot afford..though they look so great when using them, especially with blending & all. Maybe one day I will pay that much if I want my work to look as wonderful as yours.
+Misty Hi Thanks for your note. I'm not familiar with the products that are available in New Zealand. Since Prismacolor pencils are not readily available look for artist grade colored pencils versus student grade. Good luck!
+Misty Hi I just did a search for colored pencils in New Zealand and found this website. Maybe this might work for you? www.tasart.co.nz/shop/drawing-sketching/coloured-pencils/
100Mandalas Thanks so much for the website, I spent an hour or so looking through it last night and found it very useful. I have stumbled on a few small products from it to purchase & I am thinking of buying a set of prismocolor pencils when I save up for them. I am using the basic Faber-Castell classics & staedtler luna watercolor set at the moment (which are affordable) and have just recently started the colouring trend for a few months now & have now taken it seriously, which means I need to use quality pencils I guess lol..I love it! Thank you once again for the website & reply. Have a great day :)
+Misty Hi Faber-Castell and Staedtler are great products and you can make beautiful mandalas with them. You'll love the Prismacolors when you can get them. Have fun creating and coloring mandalas and enjoy using the supplies that you have on hand. It is all good. I'm happy that you found this website helpful to you and you'll be able to find new supplies to collect and play with.
Just found your channel - what colored pencils do you like best at this time? If you sell them, please give me a link. Such a thorough tutorial. Thank you. I’m interested in your course!
Superb video..loved the way you have explained so well..Just two small questions.. (1) Can I use Gamsol on Faber castell aquarell pencils? They are water colour pencils. (2) I couldn't find Gamsol in India. Can I use distilled turpentine instead? It's sold at my local art-craft shop.
+Vikram S Watercolor pencils are not made of the same waxy content as colored pencils. Use water to blend with watercolor pencils. Yes, you could use turpentine. Be sure to have a well ventilated area when you work with turpentine as it has a strong odor and it isn't healthy to inhale. I would definitely use it sparingly.
Outstanding presentation. I began with coloring three months ago by publishing three books of my hand drawn images that can be found on Amazon if you search using my pen name, Gurdus. I will visit your site and upload one of my drawn and colored works. I get my pencils from Blicks.
Dick Blick is a great place to get artist supplies at a discount. If you loved this video, you'll love my new color workshop that was just released this last week. Join now to get instant access to nine demos on how to use a wide range of mediums from alcohol markers to watercolor markers, watercolor pencils and inktense pencils, paint pens, and gel pens. Everyone is buzzing about how to create cool blending effects with Sharpies. Tomorrow's featured video is about how I like to combine different mediums. Check it out here: www.100mandalas.com/color Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
+Cheryl DeShon I'm so happy that you found my tutorial helpful. In an hour or so, Episode 6 will be published and you'll see how I use colored pencil on a black background. Check back soon!
Good question. I believe it will smear the inkjet ink as it is applied by spraying the ink onto the paper unlike laser printers that use heat or thermal technology to apply the ink. One way to know for sure is to try it. :)
1st time heard about you. I have never interested about mandalas, but few weeks ago I started crabing about what is mandalas about. You appeared in my search. 1st video. Love coloring. Question is gamasol toxic? I have heard about baby oil. Can you share more about pro and cons? New subscriber.
Use Gamsol in well ventilated area. I use very little and truly find that using good quality pencils blend well without it. Baby oil tends ti be on the greasy side so using sparingly.
I have been using the Arteza watercolor pencils. I actually prefer them (as compared to Faber-Castell). Will try their colored pencils in future. (I just ordered the Prismacolor Premier 150 set … if I order 2 sets in one week, Hubby will think I've lost my marbles LOL :)
Howdy! I'm a kid looking to improve my skill in paper art (which is terrible; I do digital art). Right now, I only have Crayola erasable colored pencils, and I am wondering if your blending techniques would work for my type of pencil. It has a... Waxy feel on the paper btw.
I'm not sure as I haven't worked with those pencils. Give it a go. The best way to get good is to practice, practice, practice. I drew many of the illustrations found in my book as many as six times until I got it the way I liked them. I love creating on the computer (Photoshop is the bomb) but drawing my own mandalas brings so much joy. Have fun exploring and experimenting!
when i started this video i thought to myself well this is gonna be dumb. but WOW so informative and helpful! thanks so much for making this video for people like me
Hey! Julian here, from Colombia. I enjoy coloring Mandalas and I'm really eager to start blending with Gamsol -had no idea such a thing existed! But the thing is I don't know how to even ask for it at a store? I've been browsing the Internet to see what it's called in Spanish but no result! Any idea? You think if I just ask for Gamsol they'll get it? Thanks!
+Aimi Ai some people use baby oil. I would caution you, to only use a very little amount as it can make your artwork really oily and greasy. A very little amount goes a long way. I also suggest you do some research. There is a wealth of information on the internet. Good luck!
+Vivianne Gravel - I'm cracking up! I've been told many times that I have a very soothing voice. I started a podcast that you may find relaxing. I only have one episode recorded so far. Check it out here: 100mandalas.com/2016/01/03/podcast-episode-1/
wowww! wat an awesome vdeo., from the start to the end... now i cant wait to buy prisma colors.(dat wil b a dream cum true to me)., i loved the blending technique wth gamsol...ur way of sharing thots abt the small details like sharpen, store n purchasing is juz worth appreciating.... coz peop like me wil go for 12 set of prisma.. art n passion is smthng dat u CAN NEVER get satisfed wth the materials u hav... like u told i wil end up havng the same set in double....keep goin.... U WIL REACH THE PEAK ONE DAY.....
+SHAZ Thank you Shaz. I love how I can create this video in the US and you can watch it in India. Thank you for your enthusiasm. I hope you do get a set of Prismacolors one day soon along with some Gamsol.
I know this might be a weird question, but do you happen to know the official meaning of each color for the mandalas? Such as red stands for --- on the mandala. I've been looking everywhere and their have been no answers yet. I would appreciate any help that you could give me.
That isn't a weird question at all. I introduce this topic with a great quick guide reference in my book, "The Mandala Guidebook." For a more in depth exploration check out Susanne Fincher's book, "Creating Mandalas." Find my book here: www.100mandalas.com/book

This the best video I've come across. I really wish I'd found it a long time ago. I will be viewing more of your video.
This was a great video to watch. I learned so much about blending, shading, and coloring in general. I have many different colored pencils, gel pens, markers, and highlighters. I need to get some Gamsol. Thank you for the video. Will be looking for more.

Hi +Nancy! I'm so fortunate that you found my video. Have fun coloring your mandalas. I have more videos coming soon!
+100Mandalas thank you your expertise you are so helpful now I can see myself taking a break from painting thank you have a blessed day

I cant stop looking at the pink and blue mandala in the background who else felt this way?
Hey... thank you very much for your tips, it really helped me!
Great video. Excellent review of different blending techniques.
Excellent. I picked up a couple of tips and I have mineral spirits in my cleaning cabinet! I'm off to try it.
Thank you so much for sharing all these great tips! Amazing tutorial and so easy to follow :-)
I wanted to add that you could also use Isopropyl Alcohol, 90% or higher.
Mother's day is over, back to monday traffic. People have moved on from meri maa to teri maa shubham khanna and friends Elizabeth clothier
EXCELLENT!! you teach well and I am grateful to have found you and your work. My student hat is now on! :-)
Fantastic. Let the fun begin. I love teaching, if you can't tell. {wink}
+Laynie Fingers - Much appreciated!!!
+Laynie Fingers - I love your generous spirit! Thanks for sharing.
Your so lucky to have that materials...Your Video is so adorable😍😍😍😍
Katheryn, thanks to you I didn't waste money before buying my first set of colored pencils. Took your advise and bought Prisma Colored wax pencils and so glad I did. I'm new at designing/creating but it's giving me spiritual and mental healing. Do you have any thoughts on a clear spray I could purchase to spray my finished designs to make the color pop even more and protect?
This is great!!! I love the ideas!
Thanks
A very nice tutorial, thank you.
Finally a coloring channel I can identify with.
@@adelinenicholas922 these days I've been using Arteza. For the price, they work great.
@@TrueNorthArts I have amazon basics colored pencils. The 48 pack. They have big cores!!
So helpful, thanks. I love coloring but get intimidated by choosing colors. Will you do any tutorials on that?
Great video. I learned a lot. Thank you!
Fantastic video, Thanks for sharing!!
thank you for showing differant pencils
This is so inspiring! Thank you for sharing these videos, they are really helping me with my mandalas :D
It brightens my day when I see how my videos are helping others to find joy in their mandala practice.
Just found your channel - what colored pencils do you like best at this time? If you sell them, please give me a link. Such a thorough tutorial. Thank you. I’m interested in your course!
I do like your Program and to Mandalas and is great my friends liked to color and for adults and this how it can be you thanks
Thank you very much your explanations is very clear and helpful
Excellent. Hope you are having fun with coloring mandalas.
I would definitely use it sparingly.
nice video but what you think about maped and faber castell
i loved it so much...so amazing...
Check it out here: www.100mandalas.com/color
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
This is just a lovely video and answered so many questions I had, especially about blending techniques. Thank you!
Excellent!
This was such a great tutorial, covering so many of the topics I need as a true beginner in pencil coloring. Thank you.
+Cheryl DeShon I'm so happy that you found my tutorial helpful. In an hour or so, Episode 6 will be published and you'll see how I use colored pencil on a black background. Check back soon!
Great video👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great tutorial...thank you x
Will the Gamsol cause inkjet ink to run even on card stock? Very good video!
Good question. I believe it will smear the inkjet ink as it is applied by spraying the ink onto the paper unlike laser printers that use heat or thermal technology to apply the ink. One way to know for sure is to try it. :)
Hi :)
I am still a new beginner of coloring mandalas... And I was wondering if it's okay to use the Faber-Castell colors rather than the prisma ones??
Most definitely! Have fun!
loved it thanks for sharing helpful
1st time heard about you. I have never interested about mandalas, but few weeks ago I started crabing about what is mandalas about. You appeared in my search. 1st video. Love coloring. Question is gamasol toxic? I have heard about baby oil. Can you share more about pro and cons? New subscriber.
Use Gamsol in well ventilated area. I use very little and truly find that using good quality pencils blend well without it. Baby oil tends ti be on the greasy side so using sparingly.
Wow this is a brilliant tutorial! Thank you so much! I feel so inspired 😃
Fantastic!
Excellent!!! Thank you
I really enjoyed your program that I am wondering how to use the acrylic colouring thank and please the name of the pen colours.
If you are looking for paint pens I recommend Posca pens.
Excellent!
Great information!!!! Thanks..
Great video!!
+Carrianne Conge Thanks for taking the time to comment. It brightens my day.
Awesome, this was so helpful. I love your work!!
Thank you for the video --- very informative!
Wonderful video! Looking forward to trying these techniques. I ordered my supplies on amazon.com
Fantastic. Arteza by the way has a great colored pencil line. I just used them last week in my workshops at the Omega Institute.
I am just getting into coloring
Thank you for this informative video! Think a new set of professional pencils is the order of the day.!
You'll love the pro pencils.
Thanks a lot Kathryn :) take care
Alright. Thank you!
i want one off those books
when i started this video i thought to myself well this is gonna be dumb. but WOW so informative and helpful! thanks so much for making this video for people like me
I'm cracking up. I'm glad you didn't find my video dumb. Have fun creating cool effects with your colored pencils.
Thanks!
Gamsol is mineral spirits. Maybe that will help.
It did. Haha, thanks! :D
Fantastic!
That was awesome! I feel more like I can actually accomplish the same results based on what you taught today. Thank you.
What store can I use to buy all kinds of art supplies?
great job love it
Thanks! I enjoy sharing what I know.
very interesting informative video
Lots of good information... Thank You...
im from Philippines and i love your videos, where can we get that gamsol?.. is there any thing we can use aside from that?
Hi +Aimi Ai. Look for artist grade odorless mineral spirits.
Is there alternatives for that..
+Aimi Ai some people use baby oil. I would caution you, to only use a very little amount as it can make your artwork really oily and greasy. A very little amount goes a long way. I also suggest you do some research. There is a wealth of information on the internet. Good luck!
+Aimi Ai You may blend using the other techniques demonstrated in the video.
Im using faber castell classic colored pencils.. so hard to find prisma colors here.. and other brands..
I don't even like coloring that much, I just watched the whole video because it was so relaxing and your voice is soothing :')
+Vivianne Gravel - I'm cracking up! I've been told many times that I have a very soothing voice. I started a podcast that you may find relaxing. I only have one episode recorded so far. Check it out here: 100mandalas.com/2016/01/03/podcast-episode-1/
+100Mandalas Thanks, I'll make sure to check it out!
Como una sugerencia, podrían subtitular en español los vídeos .... Muchas gracias ¡
wowww! wat an awesome vdeo., from the start to the end... now i cant wait to buy prisma colors.(dat wil b a dream cum true to me)., i loved the blending technique wth gamsol...ur way of sharing thots abt the small details like sharpen, store n purchasing is juz worth appreciating.... coz peop like me wil go for 12 set of prisma.. art n passion is smthng dat u CAN NEVER get satisfed wth the materials u hav... like u told i wil end up havng the same set in double....keep goin.... U WIL REACH THE PEAK ONE DAY.....
+SHAZ Thank you Shaz. I love how I can create this video in the US and you can watch it in India. Thank you for your enthusiasm. I hope you do get a set of Prismacolors one day soon along with some Gamsol.
This helped me so much thanks +100Mandalas
You are so welcome!
