Saw this on LinkedIn earlier today as well. Pretty cool and a lot easier to get some more senior people on board 😅 nice santa hat!

An Excel-lent Video. You Excel at this format.

    - FWIW support for implicit measures in Analyze in Excel IS on the Power BI roadmap. In fact I think it might even be already available in some regions (though Power BI purists would still encourage using explicit measures as a better practice)
    - in terms of sharing reference data via Excel, the "Featured Tables" option in Power BI would be another powerful option
-if you want to get really funky, you could throw OLAP formulas/Cube functions into the mix too

Implicit measures! That's the term I forgot - see, this is why I shouldn't make Power BI videos when you're not around :D

What if PowerBI option isn’t available when I go into Excel> Get Data > From Power Platform?
I also don’t see the export> analyze as excel option in PowerBI either.

Regarding refresh, you can refresh through logic apps as many times as you want. Additionally, logic apps can be triggered by the REST API call.

True, but I was trying to keep in the "low code analyst" persona 😅

I think the largest value add of the add-in is the writeback capability. Much more difficult to do via power bi.

Are there any Delta Sharing sources available (for demo reasons - showing the Power BI Delta Sharing connector live), that are freely accessible (maybe incl. a bearer token - but not derived from a backend deployed by yourself)?

I know it may sounds insane, but there are users that have access to Excel and not PowerBI

Oh noooo! Not yet another reason to do everything in Excel!!
