I see this differently. I found it so telling that as soon as you got the truck moving, your first impulse was to try to level the ground again. Not that you couldn't have done it with the tools you had at hand - but I am sure that was not your job to do! Yet. You just couldn't drive off and leave that big a mess! I loved that. You like things tidy!
It's nice to see I'm not the only one who uses the bucket to stabilize and take the stress off the tracks and undercarriage while unloading ! Great job Chris !
Chris, since you operate your machines with such precision and grace, do you find that folks don't take the care they should when within your operating range? Watching you work it's easy to forget that tons of machinery are flying around.
LOL.. I feel you... don't know how many driver (I have a license) come to job sites in tractor trailers and can't drive let alone back up to get a load... then the fun starts when they have weight behind them.. OH YEAH... love it
Great Job, Chris. a sign of a good man. fixing damage to the ground you didn't do. on the first or second log off the truck, I was thinking why didn't the loader operator simply fork the first two logs with you holding the backstop. then it dawned on him I guess. little mini was struggling with a couple of those monsters. Cheers from Louisiana.
Let's see what this baby can really do! Lol. You are 1 of few people I see who actually use the bucket to come off a trailer...everyone else just drives off and almost tip...it payes to take care of your stuff.
New Video Title: "Driver isn't from the area, and doesn't know North Carolina gets 10,000 inches of rain every year, so he thinks low lying grassy areas are nice little short-cuts."
Well it was a great setting for a good video bro, I was wondering if you were going to leave some weight over the drive wheels and you did. I drove milk takers here in NZ and the dispatcher always made sure we picked up some milk on the flat before we went to the hill farms so there was enough weight over the drive wheels. That driver sure picked a great spot to turn, lol.
I was wondering if you were going to teach that forked loader how to pick up logs off the ground. You were just about throwing them on the forks for him. Really like the information that you share in your vids letsdig18.
Well like I always say if you going to do something do it right like getting stuck . Y’all need to add truck recovery on the side of your work truck to lol
Hi just started watching your page , how do you like your yanmar and what model is it? I’m currently looking at the yanmar 2019 55 and the 2019 Deere 60g . Not a lot of reviews on either... just trying to get some insight. Thanks👍
nice video is the yanmar having issues with the beeper on it? sounds like its going off when the machine gets at certain angles i also heard it in one of the other videos
The driver felt his steer tires sink it was oh shit lets power on it well **** that didn’t work now I’m stuck. It’s a good rule of thumb never drive on grass it can turn ugly every time.
Nicely done. I've noticed that you are always looking out the left window a lot while you are operating the various machines, like you are looking at something specific. What are you looking at? It looks different than if you were just watching your perimeter. Thanks.
letsdig18, it's always out the left window. You're not looking back at the camera, or left and right to watch your surroundings. I was hoping for some great words of wisdom, like "I'm always checking the franastat valve" or something. Just curious. I've learned a LOT just from watching your videos. Really appreciate the work that goes into making them. Thanks.
@@letsdig18 I've noticed it too...I always figured you were doing it to keep from getting dizzy. Kinda how the dancers keep looking one direction when you're spinning
By the way, the Volvo equipment video about you just popped up on my suggestions. Very cool! It's a great story. I used to hang out with an old guy named Dave when I was three or four when my dad and some friends had a private lake and roads for simple vacation cabins built. Dave let me ride with him as he operated the dozer. It struck a chord with me when you spoke about your Grandfather. Thanks again.

Everyone in sinc with each other. Thats teamwork in action folks.
you and your Uncle are good people helping out that Log truck
The power of that mini always amazes me
9"
He doesn't even have it in the heaviest mode, the boom pin is set up for max height.
Don't know what the driver was thinking but this recovery could not have happened without Uncle Buck's expert direction. Good job Chris.

Very nice log truck discovery Chris....👍✌😎
Over my years of driving you kind of have to think ahead! and say I think I better not chance that move. great recovery Chris.
Chris’s Towing and Recovery... now that has a ring to it lol !!!
Tidying up the ruts was a nice touch.
I'm surprised you left without filling in all the ruts, it's not like you to leave something not perfect.
Well done, either way you saved their bacon.
The ruts will hopefully convince the next guy not to do that!...
it needs to dry then its will be a lot easier
That must be the truckdrivers business with a hand showel
The Yanmar was groaning on them big logs!
My bio teacher: please do the lab review Me: watches Stuck Log Truck Recovery and other letsdig18 videos. Love them keep up the hard work!!
Always make it look easy no matter the job, thanks for another great video chris! Rocking the new letsdig18 shirt I got in yesterday thanks again!

Those r some nice lookin logs. Wish i had all that busted up in firewood
New Video Title: "Driver isn't from the area, and doesn't know North Carolina gets 10,000 inches of rain every year, so he thinks low lying grassy areas are nice little short-cuts."
Great job.... congratulations from Brasil.
I’ve learned a lot of tricks from your videos
Nice load of gum logs
The most amazing part about this whole video is that Chris has yet to disable the travel alarm on the Yanmar.

Nice job getting it lighter and out.
THAT TRUCK WAS DEFINITELY 👍 OVER WEIGHT!
That was a real log jam! 😁
Good times!
@Mrs.Elite Earthworks log jam or not, you're still a cutie pie!
Yep!
nice work Chris.
This was one of your episodes that looked like a kid playing with his toy train set. 'Cept you don't get much mud on a train set.
That poor logging truck,..awe!!
That little Yanmar looked like it was working on some of those logs. Good operator got it done though.
a new aspect on you "Chris, the angel of the day" ^.^
nice liftings ;-)
Did a good job
just another day in life. thank you for sharing life in the past
you sure get a variety of work

Nice recovery Chris you can do it all 👍👍😎
Good vid mate nice work
Missed your channel for a while. good to be back.
Why did that driver put himself there??? Great save. 👍👍
Love to know the weight of that one log @3:10.
Fireman 3174 SVFD now THAT was an impressive log! 😉
Easily 2.5-3k lbs
Me pipes, they can't take it captain!
Nothing like tracks and hydraulics!
Good Job Chris 👍
Great 👍 job. Well done😊
The frustration is .......I get it. Catch ya in the next one
Well, that deserved a bottle of whiskey, nice work.
Looked like that log trailer was going to tip over on you
hey bub gonna have to change the channel name to " lets go recovery " lol , great vid ! he mitah got away with that empty , woooooof !!!
What a hero u are.
Chris to the rescue, good job young man. 👍👍🇵🇪🐕❤️
That driver most certainly went for the gold by going big or going home.
boy good thing you was near by huh !!!!!
Andrew Camarata swears by Yanmars. Run great and easy to repair.
Good work my friend if the jobs there you can do it
That driver owes you a 🍺 or 🍻
Smooth as silk.
Chris to the rescue!
You hit one out of the ballpark that time.
I think that this was the first video that Chris didn't need to tell us what was going on here.
Well, it could have been nice if he had told us what that truck was doing out there, beside sinking :-)
Chris to the rescue AWESOME
Maestro!
“Don’t hurt me Lawn “😂😂
Good job !
Well like I always say if you going to do something do it right like getting stuck . Y’all need to add truck recovery on the side of your work truck to lol
Tell him the logs r goin w Chris to help pay fer that new Yanmar!!!!!!
thank you for helping a man out
Damn that hydraulic leak in the loader STILL hasn't been fixed!
its not a hydraulic leak, its changing its own oil making sure that there is fresh oil in it all the time
Justin Bechtel I like this. I’m gonna use that at work
Good job on the mini. Why the hell was he out there to start with though?

Good job..
Hey Chris ..... Do you have your cdl’s ???
Great video...
nice video is the yanmar having issues with the beeper on it? sounds like its going off when the machine gets at certain angles i also heard it in one of the other videos
Whats that squeeking noise? Is it some kind of overpressure valve thats supposed to be heard to signal that you've reached max load?
This litle mini exc, took all it's had to do this job
Damn, never a dull moment on your watch, is there?
Did I spy the old Kubota on the second trailer? That thing never dies!
Different, but entertaining!
Chris, showing us how its done, again...
Nice!!
You need to add to your services, Truck Rescue 😳😂😂😂
I didn't know you could go muddin in a long truck
I guess you've never been to a logging site, a majority of them are mud bogs
I like when you said dont drive there.
Yanmar to the rescue!!
11:17 amazing
Just by the thumbnail I was sure this was Logger Wade stuck again
Nicely done
Guy thought he was Bobby goodson the swamp logger
That little Yanmar gets it done!
Yep. 200,000 by May.
So, did they call you, or did you just happen to be moving by? Did you bill them, or just a good deed?
Bummer spot to try and turn around Dern-it-al..
The driver felt his steer tires sink it was oh shit lets power on it well **** that didn’t work now I’m stuck. It’s a good rule of thumb never drive on grass it can turn ugly every time.
At least when he recogniced his steering tieres where sinking he should have stopped.
Well 1000 Volts in the arms but the bulp didn't light.
@@oz1vlh It doesn't always work that way because it happens quickly, the driver most likely already had some momentum going.
hmmm. so how / where did Chris turn HIS rig around to get outta there ?
Not in that mud hole lol
Log truck looked like it didn't have it's difflocks engaged either.
Nicely done.
I've noticed that you are always looking out the left window a lot while you are operating the various machines, like you are looking at something specific. What are you looking at? It looks different than if you were just watching your perimeter.
Thanks.
Honestly I didnt even notice I do, now Ill have to pay attention!

Who the hell would try to spin a semi rig around off a shoulder that goes down hill like that. Woww. Not an experienced driver thats for sure
I'll bet he's done it a dozen of times. But not since the winter of perpetual rain started...or he's a rookie driver like you said.
Yeah that was not very bright, that load was way too heavy to take off road on virgin ground. being a dumbass there buddy
He'd have been better off backing in that spot and keeping his tractor on solid ground.
that would be embarrassing
That yanmar is a little hoss
Musta been Stevie driven that. I betcha Cotton been watchen this sayin Ima glad it ain't just us getten stuck.
What was the repeated alarm/squeak?
