@@bgrides2108 Well I tried to flush but I removed the bottom drain plug and nothing came out. I also removed the radiator cap which shows full and still nothing came out. Any suggestions?
@@mlh2024 Maybe the drain hole is plugged with something. Could you have removed the wrong screw thinking it was the plug? You should get a lot of coolant coming out when the top fill cap is removed... sorry. Wish I was more helpful.
Thanks! The seat is from Corbin. Here's a link if you'd like to check them out. "www.corbin.com/honda/hf6bdte.shtml". The center stand came with the bike. From what I've read, you can buy the center stand from ebay and get the mounting hardware from revzilla...
Hello, you basically run the bike for a while on the center stand (no radiator cap yet) and let the bubbles work themselves throughout the system to come out. Kind of like burping a baby :) Give the bike a rev every now and then to help get more bubbles out. Run the bike long enough so the engine gets hot and turns on the fan and stuff. This will also help move the coolant around resulting in helping to get more bubbles out... Thanks for watching. Hope the video helps.
good video, dont need to take the lower cowl off if you have an extension for wrench. keep them coming on the how too. I have some too on youtube, make sure to check out. Especially if you want to put an LED light kit on
Hi jackle842000, Thanks for watching!! I think some people mix white vinegar with the water to possibly to a little bit more aggressive cleaning. White vinegar is a little less acidic than normal vinegar. Here's a video I found that mentions the white vinegar if your thinking about mixing it with the water. Another video or two mentioned it also, but I can't remember which ones... I'd guess you would need to flush with distilled water after using the white vinegar but not sure. th-cam.com/video/lBhvf-8Abxg/w-d-xo.html Start at the 15 min mark
Do you know how to remove the left side body work to get access to the radiator? Might have a leak on 2017 F6B and need access to see if there is any leak or loose clamps?
Yeah, I used your air filter change video for my B, and think I may have left the comment on that video. Harbor Freight sells cheap sets of them for $10-15.
Hi Micokest, To start off with, Spain is a beautiful country. Would love to come over there some time and ride. Visiting Spain is on my life bucket list. The socket size if I remember correctly is an M8 with an extension on the back.
that's it? man that looked eze...i guess Honda made up 4it b/c of that dreaded air filter replacement......we wana c more of big daddy 'white knight' f6b? man
Yeah, that air filter is a b*tch to replace. Coolant change was pretty easy. Big Daddy ended up having to bail on the trip because of a shoulder issue he's been dealing with. But he'll be in future vids for sure. He's a great guy. He'll probably be riding different bikes to...
Dude... Coolant still looks new that came out! Thanks very much for the video!
Hi Wretched Rider, Your right. It didn't look dirty.

Hi Lenny, Glad it helped!! Those F6B's are great bikes!
Thanks for making the video. Boy is that a job.
Hi Great Dane, Your welcome. Thanks for watching
Thanks I have a 2001 I'm about to do a flush on. I'm going to use the prestone flush as well.

Great job describing everything. I’m doing my 2008 goldwing now. Thx
Hi opichocal, Thanks. It's fun making the how to videos. It helps save some money and it's fun to do.
very nice, clean simple and very nice. Love the seat and stand? were did you get them??

Thank you! When you say you checked to make sure the air bubbles were out, how did you do that? Just by rubbing the bike and re checking the level?

Thanks for the tip on the extension. Taking the lower cowl on and off is kind of a pain. I'll check out your videos and subscribe.
Nice video thank you.
Hi Randy, Thanks. Glad it helped and thanks for watching
Video said some people recommend 50/50 water and vinegar? vinegar which is an acid and eats metal in an engine? Wander where that idea came from?

Hi Peter, no. Sorry. Haven't done that yet. Thanks for watching though.
Thanks for the video! Instead of using a screwdriver with tape, I suggest getting a set of plastic trim tools, about $10. Many uses…
Great tip! Much better than a screw driver. Thanks

How many liters of Honda coolant do you need?
Hi Lee, Not sure. Just give a dealership a call and they'll tell ya. Thanks for watching.
3.84 liter (4.06 US qt) for radiator and engine, .65 liter (.69 US qt) for reserve tank
Thanks for your video, it is excellent, can you tell me what is the size of the key to loosen the water drain screw?
greetings from Spain

How many miles do you have on your bike now. I just watched the 1000 mile butt burner video.
Hi Miskini 2014, 38,087 now. Washed it the next morning to get all the dead bugs off cause it was one dirty bike.
manual says heat engine before taking reading
Thanks @acim2228. I didn't have a manual at the time. Thanks again.
Do you have any idea if it's the same on a 08 model ..
Not sure. Seems like all the gl1800 bikes are very similar. You could try and call a dealership and ask. If so, hope this video can help. Good luck
