The entire Tonin' album is way underrated. It has great songs with great guest performances and the MT harmonies shine. Their version of God Only Knows harkens back to their gorgeous rendition of A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square. I think this album deserved to achieve millioms of sales. Hopefully over time more people will discover this album and appreciate just how well performed and produced it is. As a song catalogue it is fantastic.
Love the original version by The Four Seasons but this version is a fine example of artists doing a cover song that adds to the original by being a bit different, but still has the raw energy of the original!
With Frankie covering the lead... he ties it back to the original group, even with a very different, more Latin style. I love this version (as much or more than the original ).
I had only seen the music video of this particular song twice in the early 90s on TV when i was a kid, but i still can vividly remember parts of it, however i couldn't find any on TH-cam, anybody know where i can find it? I really love this song and its music video, it lives inside my head rent-free for the past decades :)
Common, this song deserves much more likes, People!
More than agree!!…
You can hear Frankie on this one! His unmistakable voice!
How good can Pop covers be?? ... This Good!!

I always listened to this 3 decades ago...
My favorite track on this album!
I think people underestimate not only the vocals but their arrangements instrumentally. Awesome is not enough to describe their work.
My dad used to play this song when I was a toddler. I still remember. I’m 29 now

Beautiful moment with this song
There's a little Latin Salsa beat in this version -- ME ENCANTA!
What great vocal performance timing is perfect man this group is the best vocals in the business 😊
Frankie still had it and combining it with The Transfer made this a winning Combo. 🎵🎼🎵🎼🎵
Frankie and Janis Seigel falsetto voices compliment each other well!
Este era un temita clásico de Telestereo!
