The Velar is generally ok as the engine is north/south. I have the same engine in my black HSE. Previously had the same engine in Evoque that was East/West that had to be regenerated often. Annoying!
I haven’t found the DEF an issue at all, it probably lasts me about 6000-8000 miles and then I have to top it up. Didn’t seem to be any worse of during winter either, but I don’t know if that’s because I was driving less?
I’ve just ordered my velar, at least 6 months wait! Is the fuel consumption really bad or is that because you live in London! I will do mainly motorway driving and was just wondering how many miles to the gallon I could expect! I currently drive a Landrover Discovery Sport and I’m not unhappy with the fuel consumption on that! I’m hoping for great things with this car as I’ve stretched my budget! Top videos by the way, very clear Cheers
Cheers mate! I honestly think it’s because I live in London and I’ve only ever done short trips to be honest and you rarely get to 20mph without constant stopping and starting. Long trips or motorway driving has a much better mpg!
i got ther new discovery sport 2022 got some issues but still love it. screen is slow i had a polestar 2 before. that was way better in terms of infortainment
@@OLTAUTOMOTIVE Polesatar 2 was amazing just a bit dissapointed with the range. Needed a bigger car because of a big dog and a child on the way. Thenit became discovery sport:)
Love my velar 2021... got me some seat covers, replace the grill to all black. Red calipers on blk rims.
Sounds lovely mate!
You can get the bumpers blacked out for like £250
Oh really? That’s a lot cheaper than I expected to be honest! Any suggestions on where I could get that done mate?
Which year velar is this?
2019
Do you get any DPF issues? And is this the d180 diesel?
Not had any DPF issues as of yet, fingers crossed I don’t either. Yes this is the D180 diesel!

Is there any issues with the DEF on the Velar if you are not doing long journeys? Thanks
