    Priority: hearing dialogue in films and TV dramas, especially when there is background music on the soundtrack.🕊️

      Yes that can be a challenge, a good sound system should help with that

    B&O Manchester recently supplied and installed a Theatre and pair of Beolab 8's as rears at my house. The integration between Sky Stream, LG C3 panel, theatre and it's connected speakers is second to none. A smooth user experience is important to me, the Beoremote One can do it all while looking the part (why it's not backlit is a mystery though). It's part of a B&O multiroom system with a Beosound Ballance in the dining room as well. At my previous house I had a full 5.1 speaker system and chunky AV Receiver which now seems very old school. The day I moved out of the house the AV system was the same as the day I moved in 10 years earlier. The ability of the Theatre to be the foundation of a system that can evolve over time is a great concept.

      Glad to hear that you received such a great service from B&O Manchester! The current B&O product range is superb, I agree that the Theatre is really flexible and easy to upgrade over time.

    I have a beovision 8-40 and a beolab 4000 with subwoofer. The sound quality is very good for both music and movies. Even the old bang and olufsen systems can be compared to today's.

    I still use some old Penta mark 3. Nice solid sound, though I propbly are going to upgrade to some passive borresen speakers in future for more dynamic and clairty and higher fidelity, but yea B&O are a nice " all in one solution " but I still think that you can get better fidelity, claity, dynamic and sepration and detph from other brands.

      I also have Penta mk3 speakers as my daily listening setup and I love them! B&O speakers are still good compared to the best that other brands can offer in my view

      @@soundsheavenly Penta's are diffently one of my fev B&O speakers ever!! Yes for an all in one " active " they are very solid! I just perf the sound of Ribbon tweeters more then Dome, so thats also why I perf other speakers in the end, but yes I do agree with you B&O always sound nice and solid !

    Hello! Great video! I'm considering the Beolab 50 to pair with my Beosound Theatre 77.
    My listening would be 50/50 between music and movie. As you mentioned in the video, listening to music on the 50 was amazing, but I am curious if i am overkilling it as Beolab 28 is half the price. I have tried both in the dealership. Beolab 28 was great with maybe a little too leaned towards the bass than traditional B&O's that I'm used to. When I heard the 50, the difference was immediately felt through its clearer soundstage, better balance, and more natural sounding experience.
    I'm also kind of concerned that it's been about 7 years since the 50 came out and it would be replaced in 3-4 years whereas the 28 is relatively new. I would like to own this system that im buying now far into the future. I would love to add a pair of Beolab 8's as rears (either for 50 or 28). Is the 50 worth the double price over the 28? If you had to choose on pair of speakers with Beo Theatre, what would you absolutely recommend the 50 as you briefly touched in the video?

      Thanks! These are great speakers, I suggest hearing them for yourself (ideally in your own home if possible) before making your decision. Please let me know what you decide!

    Great video, Steve. But lets be honest.....this set up is beyond 90% of home cinema fans. The way Ian nonchalantly says "about £60k" madw me laugh.
    I have a Sonos set up that ran me say, £2300 and had to save hard for. This is dream stuff, but great video all the same 👍

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks, I appreciate that this is not within everyone’s reach but I still love to dream of having a setup like this even though I can’t afford it. Sonos is great (and also out of reach for many people), but I wanted to share this amazing aspirational system so more people can dream about one day owning it!

    Hey 👋 I just came across similar issue but more budget in mind. I have Beolab 6000 connected to TV but they lack little bit of base. I've heard that Beolab 7.2 was great soundbar with everything to it. I could buy it for a nice price but I didn't found any way to connect Beolab 6000 to Beolab 7.2 and that one to my streamer that is connected with TV. Does anyone know about some way?

      Thanks! I think that is a good idea for a future video! It is a bit too complicated to cover in TH-cam comments but I suggest having a listen to both products in a B&O store to see how they compare

    At least the theatre is a cheap speaker, what with its continued price hikes with no upgrades or improvements to warrant them
    Sadly I fear B&O is pricing it’s products out of the reach of the majority of its enthusiasts 😞

    • @soundsheavenly
      @soundsheavenly  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, there have been some significant price increases in recent years, but that is the same across many companies...
