- Join me for the opening night of Universal Mardi Gras 2023 celebration where we check out THE BEEST of this annual celebration at Universal Studios Florida! I bring you the full parade, the gorgeous fantasy themed new floats, Mardi Gras food and drinks, the Mardi Gras Tribute Store, Cursed Coconut Club and more! We check out the brand new Cursed Coconut Club, an overlay of the Red Coconut Club in CityWalk that's themed to the gills to the spooky side of Mardi Gras, they've even got some Halloween Horror Nights props, and I give you a tour of that, we see the Universal Mardi Gras parade with 6 new floats and it's Mythical Realms of Mardi Gras theme, featuring unicorns, phoenix, fairies, and more mythical beings and designs! I take you on a tour of the brand new Mardi Gras Tribute Store in its new location in Hollywood, we try some new food, see Patti LaBelle in concert, and enjoy some fun characters roaming the park for Orlando Informer!

One of my favorite parts of Universal Mardi Gras is throwing a set of beads on the tree as I'm leaving the park. 💜💚💛
Me too, it seems like they're not letting ppl do that this year, altho the trees are still full of beads so I'm not sure.

I love the theme this year. Fairies are my thing, so this is so great. As I have said before, I rode the gator float last year and had the time of my life. I normal have my Mardi Gras trip planned after leaving from my Christmas trip. But this year I'm having some eye issues that I have to take care of and trying to see when I came make it. I want to come soooooo baaaaad!!!
The gator seems the ultimate float to ride! Sending healing vibes and hopes for your sweet eyes. That’s definitely priority, taking care of yourself. ❤️ and then you’ll be able to return in no time, Vicki ❤️

Just got home from our trip to Orlando, we loved Universal Studios and the Mardi Gras event this year! We didn't want to go home! So what better way to do it than watching your MG & informer video. We found you and Sam in the Tribute Store lol "The Blonde and the Brit" good name for a show of you 2 🤣🤣 love your videos and adventures! Especially Scotland!! Can't wait to visit there again! We only got 2 days at MG, so I'm excited for more videos of the event throughout the season!!

Just got back from a quick visit to Orlando. Got to hit up Epcot, but missed the Mardi Gras fun at Universal. As always, Jackie is there to pick up the slack and make us all feel like we are there in person. It’s almost like I never left!
I'm from New Orleans and I've seen people camp in their spot 6 day's before "Bacchus " , it's a huge parade for Mardi Gras!!!! Another Great Vlog 👍 🥳🥳😀

Love the video Jackie!!! I need to go to Universal. Every time I watch your Universal videos it looks like they always do so much there and they never look busy or crowded. I really wish I lived closer to Florida. Since I don’t, I enjoy watching all your videos. I always feel like I’m there.
The parks definitely do get busy and crowded, I just try my best to avoid that haha! I do feel like the Universal parks are less stressful than the Disney parks nowadays tho.

We are hopeful with us going to Magic Kingdon, Hollywood Studios, Sea World, and both Universal Parks, and Disney Springs daily, that we may run into you and Sam one of those days. Man, I had never heard of the Coconut Club (any variation) until HHN31 and suddenly it’s the most exciting place in Citywalk! 🤩 Love to see the Mardi Gras spirit taking hold at Universal. The mer-people were on point! The Dragon and the Phoenix floats were incredible, and the Jackie VS Sam bead competition might just be the highlight of our week 😂 Great work, you two!
It's like the HOT SPOT now, I tell ya what!!! I def need to lay it on thicker w the beads next time tho, it's hard to catch when you have a camera in your hand!! Lol!!

That parade was Gorgeous!!!! Not since the Main Street Electrical Parade have I seen such a fun time with a parade... plus it has beads!!! I’ve only been a Universal pass holder since the lock down and haven’t made it to Mardi Gras yet but you’ve shown me I absolutely can not miss it this year. They’ll do a virtual queue in the universal Orlando app so check early in the day and keep checking! There’s also a ride and dine experience you can book but it’s booked up a lot of days. The info’s on this page if u scroll down:

Yea the private event thing kinda stinks and we never know when it will be, but I hope you get to experience the club while it’s open! The parade is so good this year too!! And what a good eye on that Easter egg!!
The 1st thought that came to me about the new floats was, less cardboardy.
Not a fan of seafood and seeing the crayfish looking back at me accusingly is the biggest no no.😆

Just wondering what happened to your new 4K camera the past few videos?
I have mixed feelings about it so I’m kinda going back and forth. I love the image quality but the stabilization and audio I’m still on the fence about. I’ll keep experimenting and trying different things I dunno.

Omg first Orlando Informer and now Mardis Gras! 😍 I need your upbeat loving energy. My Mother In Law is on Hospice, I just found out one of my favorite people on the planet, a former co-worker, suddenly died leaving three young sons without their mother. I know three people who's pets died in the last week. Just heartbreaking stuff.
