I think we should call it like the Japanese do: Kei Fashion... because if you use the term kei stuck to styles like Larme Kei, Pastel Kei, Mori Kei... or more like Alternative Kei Street Fashion because it's alternative and not what usual people wear... kinda like what the runway does, no one wears runway fashion in real life... I'd like to buy some kei fashion, still looking for my style (if I have a style???) but I feel like Japanese fashions won't fit me because I am not as small as a Japanese women. Also I have Sailor Moon Tattoos so I'm already alternative and out of the norm LOL

I love the idea of using kei! That way it can be used to describe individual styles as well as Japanese alternative fashion as a whole!
Don’t worry! There are lots of styles that fit plus size girls! I have some videos trying different brands and styles on if that helps you at all. Keep experimenting with makes you feel comfortable and happy ☺️

@@gracehayashi4568 Thanks, when I finaly get to Japan, I'll definatly go shopping in LaForet or at PUNYUS although I don't like Punyus all that much? I am researching fashions and PLus size things like Uniclo and others. Don't know WHEN that's going to happen but it will happen.

I remember when I got really interested in Japanese fashion with listening to a lot of older v-kei bands. I came across an anime called Super Gals, and it talked about fashion a lot. I remember seeing the Gyaru fashion on there for the first time and was really interesting and different. Loved this explanation of Japanese fashion!

Thank you so much for your comment! Oooh V-kei is a fashion and culture all in itself and I really wanna do a video on it in the future! I’ll definitely check out that anime, have you seen Nana? It’s another classic fashion anime!

@@gracehayashi4568 A video on V-kei fashion would be amazing! I know there is so much to it, learning more would be great. Nana was actually the anime I saw right after Super Gals, it's very good. I hope you do get a chance to see Super Gals and doesn't disappoint :D

Great video . I never heard of larme Kei I might actually look into it. It’s looks casual but cute as well 💓💕✨ I would love to go to Japan and shopping in Harajuku aka ALT SHOPPING PARADISE one day and wear my lolita fashion in full confidence. ☺️

I have a video on Larme where I try one some of the different brands if you’re interested in knowing more!
Certainly harajuku isn’t what it used to be but there are still a lot of alt shops to check out :)
