Hello mam, I had two long leaves of snake plant. I put them in water. It took almost 3 months to get good roots in them. Then I shifted then in soil. Its now 2 months but nothing seems coming out like a new bud and all. Even I am not sure they are alive or not. They are green and tall and no browning at the tips or anywhere. What should I assume?
Hello! The roots that develop in water find it very difficult to sustain in soil. They are adapted to take food from water. The water roots are not going to work, new roots will develop in the soil. I suggest you uproot the leaves once and check if everything is okay with the leaves. If yes then wait for some time

My both leaves of snake plant are shooting a bud from the soil and I am so happy. 😇😇🤗🤗 I was planning to uproot the plant this Sunday then suddenly in a day before yesterday, in the morning.. I saw a bud coming out from the long leave and today I saw the same from the short leave I planted. So so so happy.. I wish I can put a picture here. thank you mam. 🤗🤗😊😊
