Really superb tutorials, thanks. I feel it's important to know what amp and pedal settings you're using in a lesson. Everyone hears it differently but it would really help to know from where you're starting. It'd be perfect if you could simply state this either at beginning of tutorial or in your comments. Thanks, easier than I thought it would be. The chords sound like something different than power chords. I was thinking like Jazz chords or something. It is so catchy and easy to play along. By the second verse? I was finally playing it. Back in the day? I never gave this song it's credit. Never really knew what the lyrics were? Then I saw a live performance by Green Day and then realized how great this song is. And finally downloaded the lyrics? Had no idea it was about a girl wanting someone better whoever viewpoint the writer. She don't want him, she wants better. But she will always let him in after excuse and excuse. She will tell him different on the phone or whatever? But face to face in person? She crumbles and let's him in. That is so cool
