    Why only 2L multiply by Sigma instead of 2L +2d is there no surface tension along diameter why only L wise

    how the required amount of the liquid drop size is formed from the nozzle, can you explain..?? if possible can you make a video on it..
    for example i need a drop size of 4mm..

      when liquid from the nozzle comes out in the form of jet it has high energy in the form of kinetic energy..and higher the energy means higher unstability.. so as per the nature of substance everything tends to become stable... so now, for the given volume the sphere has the least surface area, so less surface energy stored over the surface, that means more stability takes place. hence the shape of liquid tends to become sphere in the end when it comes out from the nozzle.
