Yes, a vintage Porsche! Been my dream car too, since I was a kid. RWB’s and R34 v-spec all day long! I’m with you regarding the boring thing and the amount of money it takes and for what. Maybe if money were endless it’d be different. It’s fun taking something that was let go or old and bringing it back to showroom quality though.
Totally agree, restoring a car from scratch is extremely rewarding! It’s all about the journey, man! And I’m the same! Love me a good r34 GTR and a 911😭 I just love old cars lol

Car shows are getting over saturated, repetitive, and so damn expensive! Back in the day we had maybe 2 or 3 shows a year and I’d look forward to them every year. The builds were done with passion along with the car shows were set up for the love of the game. Now it’s damn near 1 or 2 shows a month with builds that are outrageous and people build for clout, but hey still love cars and building my cars.

The best Lexus was the same RCF everyone has seen a million times and he won because he’s a TOYO tires car and they put alot of money into these events. I bought my is350 years ago because of this channel but had to part ways in order accelerate contributions towards property development venture. Ended up buying a modelista gws204 crown for cheap so I get the same reliable engine + hybrid + more luxury features. Gotta figure out ways to get that lc500 next 😉

Paint, body work, one off custom parts and the unique touches they bring. Gotta kick how you noticed steering wheels. It’s the small things, albeit expensive, that bring the show out to me. In my eyes some of them cars are not show cars If it makes you feel like you just went into a Parking lot where all the cars looks the same or like you're gonna go buy a carto me are not showcars if you worked on it and no one else has that like the body kit that's a show car to me Like Atlanta Georgia here they like to go ahead and pay for a Spencer wrap and put lights on it that to me is not a show car you just spend money and you didn't do nothing to it you had someone else to do it If you do put a wide body kit on the car do not cover up the wide body and make it look like it's part of the car When you match paint the wide body car kit It does look like you bought the car that way That's why I like your Lexus what you did to the front end is different in everybody else👍💫💥💫❤️🔥💯😎

As I get older, less is more. I don’t attend car shows and I keep my car clean and simple with minor modifications.
