This was an aspect of the diamonds I've wanted to see for quite a while. In SU they never felt very powerful other than maybe White but even then it wasn't so powerful as to seem worthy of ruling the whole universe. I've always wanted to see a fight and see how they would fair against a daimond. Kind of like Blue Vs everyone except it's an actual struggle rather than blue just standing there and doing nothing. If SU would've made proper fights I might not have it as low as I do in my mind but it still needs other works to fix too
Yea me too I wish there was more fights and make the episodes at least longer I hate how there Finally on the series and future wasnt longer than 10 mins

I think the main problem was that they went with the whole "everyone deserves to be forgiven" so they couldn't do big fights like this
@@moggyjohnny3381 it’s honestly bad to teach people that EVERYONE is good, or can be redeemed. Perfect example of someone who can be redeemed is Peridot, bad example of this are the diamonds.
There was also a lot of Plot armour, especially when it came to fights between the Crystal Gems and Jasper.
Jasper has probably the most wasted Potential in Steven Universe.

The motions of White Diamond's cape are seamless, and flawless.
I like how this was written where White Diamond was ACTUALLY a force to be reckoned without the use of her mind-control powers (technically).
White diamond true ability is unknown so she could have done things like this
Exactly it showed why they were the actual RULERS of everyone
She's basically mind stone, has mental abilities and powers.
Only thing i dont like is that white didnt use her powers that much
Like any good antagonist should, she keeps her true strength hidden and builds a false atmosphere of dependency on her mind control powers! -Masterstroke!

So am I the only one that feels like the creator of this done a better job with both character proportions and story line as well as characters staying true to what they believe than the actual Steven Universe?
No, in general I wasn't a fan of Steven Universe's tendency to nuke the antagonists before things got good. Especially with just "the power of love and friendship." Peridot was the only one who seemed to have a natural character progression towards good. With the diamonds, it felt like they just went with the infiltrate from the inside approach with Steven as Pink Diamond and said good enough. Pink Diamond couldn't get the other diamonds to agree to lay off a single _planet,_ they shouldn't have agreed to dismantling their entire empire so easily.
@@riverstein7251 I'm late but I think that the whole diamond thing is because Rebecca Sugar was rushed to finish the series because Cartoon Network semi-cancelled the show because of "Reunited". Probably why most of the show seems so rushed, including the diamonds.
This is how the series finale should have gone.
Cartoon Network should’ve made the episode an hour or maybe more. We could’ve fit this fight scene and Obsidian fighting WD as well.

This is so magnificent, that I kind of wish this was how it ended. Steven redeeming blue and yellow to find fusion to be good and _normal_ between other gems. They actually knew white, and could get to her. It's realistic, and emotional. It isn't just a "I am a kid, what's your excuse?" that sets her off in this.
She finds she's not perfect over the duration.
Also, it's nice to see that the green fusion almost broke despite almost winning, and that white wasn't taken over so soon.
Just a question:
Given the sizes of Blue and Yellow, wouldn't Green be even bigger than White?

It's been months since u started working on this I can't believe it's actually done
Not to mention that it's 7 minutes long which I simply can't comprehend like- how are you so dedicated , it would make sense if the animation or storyline dropped in quality but honestly it only kept getting better. The movements are so smooth and their expressions are so clear you can always see their emotions clearly. The voice acting is amazing u really put all your effort into this+#-$+#- not to mention how clean it all is and the backgrounds are so Steven Universe like. I love ur style it's sorta like SU but it has ur style merged into it and that's why I prefer your animations over anyone else's (sorry if that offended anyone). Also the dynamic poses, they just kept coming and there was no weird anatomy which like W H AT. 😃💜

Seriously White Diamond has been doing this for THOUSANDS OF YEARS you really expect me to believe a simple talk will make her be like “hm you know maybe I haven’t been doing the best for last few thousand years?”.
