Thank you my friend. Supposedly the delivery of the boat to us is scheduled to 9th o January. But to bring honest at this point I believe it is possible to have a couple weeks of delay by the yard. We will see. 🤞🏼😅

Now later, you have a bigger dream in the form of a custom boat. With the knowledge of your first dream, you're accomplishmenting a second in big ways! It's probably also a safe bet that your integrating safety measures in the new design for a baby and child as well. Just as you think: A big cockpit. Toilets and showers that work great as well. You've been experiencing pretty tough times since you sold Odd, far away from your friends and family, but I wish all your dreams come true as soon as possible and you won't keep too bad memories from your stay in France. Although I currently live in Arizona, I grew up just outside of Pittsburgh PA (USA) on the Ohio River. I loved the water, sailing my personal but very small sailboat and, watching boats & river towboats daily. It is with great interest that I enjoy watching your boat being built. This interest dates back to my college years, where I worked summers and tac-welded as a 'Fitter' for constructing barges and towboats for the river. Much of the construction processes are the same, with the exception of being steel as compared to aluminum. Congrats again as new parents, and please continue to provide your great video content!

I just love the both of you because you two believe in talking to each other extensively. The presentation’s of your life steps as a couple are completely relatable but mostly you are both so very simpatico(easy going); and although the duality of our lives still exist, you know to stand in your separate truths, speaking the identical message to us grounded in your shared truths. The ironic funny part is just how tied you are to your nautical inclinations. The beauty of just living is not lost on you two. I appreciate witnessing this in this part of the younger generation SO much. I’m old, not terribly yet: 7 decades- but what I experience in folks just twenty years younger than I or even just one decades’ difference, standing next to 40 years younger is kinda disappointing. Sorry but I loved your last boat color,shape I thought it was perfect and you sold it. I was given a 27ft boat with sails and engine and I turned it down it was like too too small. A longer boat goes faster so I would have made it 40 ft minimum. Another couple is building 50 ft yacht that looks just the right size. A short displacement yacht speed is limited by its length. Aluminum Looks expensive. Has to be insulated. Same as steel I think. I just do not understand why it is so small. Maybe you are making a miraculous design that hydroplanes and has folding large compartments. Lol. Listening to your cockpit design sounds terrific. Can't wait to see finished product. You are welcome to design my yacht. Lol. I want to make mine from strips of bamboo. Best wishes. In my house there is a regular oven with ,4 burners, convection oven and 3 microwaves. I love my kitchen.
It's really mind bogelling, so many new TH-cam boats under construction. My money is so restricted and tight I decided to concentrate on a channel with extremely few resources (I'm having to guess that's true based on what I see) and most of my Patreon money goes to that one channel. They are improving as a result. (I also let it be known that others watching the channel needed to at a minimum make a one time donation . So I'm saying the same to all who may be reading this, one time or patreon membership is what these people need now, more than ever. Can't wait to see this boat in the water. Mike

I have questions! Where is the Van? Did you finish the Van? Are you living in the van? How are you making money to live? And I am a person who has owned a large boat, I paid 250 K American dollars for my 38 ft boat. And the boat was finished. This was 18 years ago, the boat is still in great shape. I sail it in fresh water, on the great lakes, and took it to Florida once. I also was an engineer for General moters foe 46 years and retired from there, I also have a summer home in Michigan and a winter home in Arizona. I worry about your expenses. Can you please explane how you can afford to pay for these things, and afford to sail all over the world. We wish you all the best, and hoping your future is sound.
If you have non-structural parts subject to corrosion, why not use Aluminum bronze instead? Another idea: a layer of epoxy on the ID of the drain. Or maybe a coating of anti-fouling. hmmm, quite a few options.

I've always thought boats with a tiny mid cockpit like Odd were just not a great design. Glad you're getting an upgrade with Odd 2 (Even?).
The Odd was built as exploration boat for Antarctica, I think. Not much need for pleasant seating in the cockpit 🥶

Duca, get them to teach you to weld. You'll need that too in the future.
Aluminium welding is special and not an easy task.
@oskar3428 You're right, but Duca's there for a few more months. He doesn't need to learn how to make the boat from scratch. Enough to make a few mods. With what he has learnt in ODD, I'm sure he can learn it!

É interessante, porque eu acredito que, mesmo com óculos, o excesso de luz impede que a gente VEJA a solda sendo criada.
É preciso parar e esperar a vista se readaptar à ausência da luz provocada na solda, segundos antes.

More expensive better boat people that look for custom builds want them done in a timely fashion also just because Roberta and duca are not Hollywood stars the are very well known in the sailing community
