I replaced my 04TL bad DVD ROM with an 08 TL DVD rom from eBay, used the camera and pigtail that he recommended, now I have a back up camera, thank you.
Our TSX is a late year 2006; purchased in Dec 2006 as a left over. Using your video of the early/late DVD players, I confirmed we have the 2007-2008 DVD player. Yay! So I just ordered the harness and camera. Thank you so much. We love this car!
as long as your DVD unit has the 7 pin green plug in the back the harness should work , also theres a better harness that is 100% plug and play and dosnt require any grounding of additional wires.
Hi i had purchase the wire harness from acuraaduiogarage and the license plate camera as well but the camera doesnt fit onto my license plate light like it show on your video i dont know is it because my car is a 05 acura RL or what. But most important is the camera does not show up on my factory navigation screen like you had show in the video please explain to me what i i did wrong or missing. Thank you very much
Am I right to assume from this video that simply plugging in the green plug to the dvd player will supply power to the camera and there is NO need to tap into the reverse light wire for power?
Installed the harness and camera and love it. I did not use the license plate light plastic cover to mount the camera; it interferred with the licence plate fastener. I used a licence plate bracket. One thing; the video output display is reversed. Dunno if there is a fix for this...

@@jeffkeryk3550 No worries man, thanks for clearing that up. If you don't mind one more question, did you basically have to top the wires coming out of the camera module into the reverse light wires?
@@oxyg3n520 Yes. The backup light wires are green (pos) and black (neg). You splice the camera red to the bulb green. You can ground the camera black or splice into the bulb black. I use little squeeze clamp splicers. Very simple install, easiest I have ever done.
Love your work bro. I have a couple questions I have a 07 tsx with nav but nav doesn’t work. I have all parts installed tho but still nav doesn’t work. Do you have email?
2008 TSX. Made adding backup camera easy. Using this and your camera all the work was done in the trunk area.
