This movie gives the more realistic vibes. I remembered watching this, I felt 'chills'. In Disney movie, it gives more fairytale vibes. Both are very impressive in thier own classic way.
_Cinderella_ (2015) is the one that's realistic, because it was made with believability in mind. This movie looks like one of those fantasy alien worlds. I don't see anything relatable or believable in it.

wow im surprised how many ppl say this is better than disney live action. now dont get me wrong the disney one was OK but i was really disappointed with this version!! i was rooting for it to be better!! it was just too different of a story than what i'm familiar with i honestly got a little bored and stopped watching at the end. that said though, the costumes in this are much much better than the disney one, buuuut thats about it... ..also this director must really like close up shots of people's mouths lol
Honestly I would say this film isn’t perfect but in my opinion I feel like the reason why this film is better than the remake is because I wouldn’t copy the dialogue from the original or do the same scenes in some as the original, this film took different directions which is something what they should do in remakes and also the visuals and the aesthetic I think are great and feeling of the magic in this film in a different way was astonishing also the characters seemed more interesting than the Disney remake (personally that’s how I feel and probs many others)

I've literally just seen it and I agree! My guess is people are too used to the Disney classic and I guess this was too dark for them?
