I love this video it's like she's performing for the first time/for her harshest critics..I've always wanted to be on stage but the reaction I have when i'm there is to run/cry. I don't know why I get so overwhelmed..

saw the Yeahs in concert early this summer....great show but Maps was the encore. It was absolutely beautiful. It's even better live. The awesome thing is, Karen O still pours so much emotion into the song after 5 years.

It seems like I have lived through the songs you've shared with the world especially maps.ive often thought I've been at the very audition. It reminds me of when my mother yelled out to me as I ran off out the door to the event... During this I was crying out to my daughters and letting my mother know I heard her cry out wait they don't love you like I love you.which led to a devastating event that had impact upon my life to where it was blocked out from but reminded of all of my life. I do send gratitude and great appreciation to the artists and many others that never stopped the legends of a sacred life ...

there are clearly 2 guitars playing in this song. Saw them live in concert circa 2008, and they had a second guitarist playing and it sounded great. LOVE this song !!!!!! A timeless classic of the progressive genre, amazing!
