Haunted Maze filmed September 22, 2022 during Knott's Scary Farm Opening Night Media event.
While not the scariest maze the set design is GORGEOUS and the story interactive and interesting. If they tuned up the scares this would be an incredibly successful maze
i wonder how they could do that tho especially since its hard to take the monsters seriously cuz they all look like richard nixon
Boy you ain't kidding, absolutely top notch story telling here.
I actually like that it wasn’t filled with jump scares. This is, IMO the best theme park haunted maze I’ve ever been in.
I honestly liked this concept way better than the normal ones you see year to year. They did an incredible job and this honestly could be thought out and made into something way bigger and even become something that could be a bit interactive with the people they lead through. Loved this!
The storytelling of this maze is absolutely incredible
can you explain to me whats it about? 'cause i went through it and left me so confused
@@matty6878 My interpretation is that in the first scene these teens find the Grimoire, and start reading it, and all hell breaks loose. The next “black and white” sections of the house are a little flashback of every time the grimoire has been used, and the kind of evil which has come with it. Finally when we comeback to the campsite, all those characters from the flashbacks come to present times to unleash hell. That’s at least what I got from it!
1:45 "I can't go to bed!"
Yeah, me neither, dude. Insomnia's been KILLING me these past few weeks.
This is probably one of the best horror mazes I have ever seen so far. Good job. 👍
This is a really nice concept of the horrors of war , movement through trenches filled with rotting corpses is really scary to me
They need to make an entire maze dedicated to a trench
Love how everything is black & white (excluding the grimoire) as you travel through its past. Set design is great. Can’t lie there.
However, it could use some more scared. Might just be me, though.
Went last night and this is 100% my absolutel favorite maze of the night! Apparently each time you go, the scare actors do different things and you get different scares! Wish I could have gotten a 2nd time, it was gorgeous!
Super interesting narrative design for this one! Almost like a fast, semi-immersive play. I like seeing more experimentation like this.
That was a really good storyline.
BRILLIANT.. KNOTTS SEEM TO HAVE THE BEST MAZES OVER ANY OTHER THEME PARK
Thought the guy at 5:24 was flipping you off at first 😅
Knotts mazes have been a lot more impressive than Universal
I love your TH-cam videos
Stranger Things meets Evil Dead
While it's not remotely scary, this is actually an engaging piece of walking theater. The pretzel layout, utilizing the same (great) sets & developing characters thru years/hours of story. Good sound too! Unfortunately the "scares" are laughably bad & I wonder if you'll miss story elements stuck in the middle or back of a conga line.
Doesn’t seem too scary but thematically, it’s excellent!
Felt like evil dead. I just kept calling it the necronomicon
Ok so coming from a fellow haunter I found the sets and overall design and costuming very well done. However, I think they have way too much going on in terms of the different eras. Your casual visitor is not going to pay that close attention to the story line to understand why they went from a campground to a WWI trench to a 50’s kitchen. I think it’s incredibly clever, but I think they should have chose just one and stuck with it through the whole thing.
With that in mind, I think they could have used all of these ideas and made this a recurring haunt with the setting in a different period each time. I don’t hate their original idea, I think it’s just too much all at once. I do love how the color pallet changes depending on what era they are in though. That was insanely clever and pulled you into the scenes more.
None of the story audio was playing when I walked through so I had absolutely no idea what the story was and why we were all of a sudden in the trenches during a war and then a house in the 1950s.
So good maze 😊
Funny part was the guy who couldn't go to bed wasn't a actor, he was some guy that would just show up because well he couldn't go to bed.
Very good maze, just two things are a bit off, the campfire with the lights in it, and the camping tent with the endless bottom.
Noooooo i was hoping the campers made it out alive 😭
they fcuked around and found out
Nice
An ancient reading from the Zombie of Realms. A world where words turn whispers in the air to unleash stories and shadows of days long gone from Outworld. A world where People turn People. Where blood runs thicker than nightmares. Where's screams of mortals and war are filled with pain and despair. A world where being thankful is filled with a thirst for blood and taste of flesh. Tarkatan, Tarkatan, rise from the death. Demisouls to our pages through dying breath.
I love TH-cam videos so much
こういう自分たちで歩いていかないといけないやつマジで絶対無理やw
乗り物やったらもうされるがままで吹っ切れるけど、絶対くるってわかってるのにいかないといけないの本当に無理
Beautiful maze. But a lot of scare actors in this maze have a bad timing
Is it just me or does the last scene with all the bodies remind me of Vecna????
👍
fyi grimoir is swedish for grandmother
sorry i was wrong...mormor
Actually a grimoire is a book that tells you how to summon demons.
@@Knightwolf1994 oh ok
It's a recroom maze 😂😩
