CHEAP/DIY drone racing gates/5 gates 3 flags for under $80

Here's a cheap way to make five durable gates and three flags for around $80. Enough for a nice racing track.

Supplies Makes one gate
-10' sections of 3/4" PEX pipe (~$5)
-72" driveway marker (flexible fiberglass, $2.50. Whatever the longer one is)
-Duct tape
-Pool Noodles ×2 different colors ($2, can be had at the dollar store)
-Zip ties
The How
Cut the driveway marker in 3 equal sections with a hacksaw. It cuts easy.
Wrap duct tape around the tip of each section about the size of the internal diameter of the PEX pipe. You want it to fit easily.
Cut your noodles down the length. Cut both in half for a total of 4 noodles cut lengthwise.
Slide each section, alternating colors, around your PEX pipe and zip tie them tight.
Push driveway rods into ground around halfway. Stick the PEX pipe onto each rod. Boom excellent, sturdy, easy, tough gates.
You can make flags just as easily. One uncut driveway rod and one noodle. Wrap duct tape at the top of the driveway rod (enough for the noodle to fit over) then a second wrapping about an inch under your first. Slide top of noodle over tape and tightly zip tie the noodle between the duct tape wraps. This keeps the noodle from falling off.
You can make 5 gates and 3 flags for ~$70
I've been using these for about two months now, the only maintenance is replacing some noodles now and again. We use temporary zip ties for transport we kinda fold the gates to look like a fish and zip tip em. Transport the rods in a large PVC pipe. Get Creative yo!
