    Awesome!!!
I've been through all of your 20 appdesigner introductory videos...and they were extremely helpful. Thanks a lot!!
Could you do some videos on the other appdesigner components such as drop down, date picker, list box, image and menu bar?
I'd love to see videos on those!

Spectacular. You are an angel. I was just struggling with the different perceptions that Matlab has of the same data expressed as different type of entities (vectors, matrices, tables, arrays). To the user they look just the same. This video helped me clarify some of my doubts. Thank you.
The next step for me, in order to be able to distinguish them, will be to learn how to "freeze" the app Workspace. It appears only during the execution of the algorithm (I mean the code of the app designer) and I was able to discover it just because in one of my trials I set some breakpoints along the code. But when the execution is over, the workspace just disappears. Do you know if there is a way to save it? It could be very useful to understand the types and values of the variables that we define in the code.

Hi, i used the Matlab gui to build apps for a while, and just want to get started with the app designer. My largest hurle is input and output:
do you know if there is a way to start an app using a function and give it input for the start-up:
    like this: a= 1; b = 2; c = appAdd(a,b);
and the app would have access to the values in a and b. Also when the app is close it would return the value of a+b back to the variable c ?
when i was using the gui, it would be just guiAdd(a,b)
and the opening fcn would have access to the values of a and b (in the variable varargin)

Hey Benito, thank you very much for your tutorials! They help a lot!
I just want to ask if you could maybe explain a good way to save a user's input (Into a table format or database of sorts) and then have the option for them to select the data again and load for use in the rest of the app, instead of having to input the data every time?
    Thank you!!

Is there a way to display output of a formula say value of force (Calculated from the inputs of mass and acceleration) in a different popped up window with the option to export it in pdf or excel?
I have searched a lot over mathworks, but doesn't seem to have got anything satisfying. I would appreciate if you could make a video on the same.

Is it possible to change the code in Matlab App Designer when the code is in the grey background? Because I thought it is not possible because these are classes and clusters which are automatically generated by Matlab. But I need the change something in my class " methods (access = private)". Hello Benito!
Your tutorials are pretty good and have helped me a lot!
But I'd like to ask you something.
Is it possible to switch from a Edit Field (Numeric) to a Drop Down according to a selection on another Drop Down?
    For example:
If DropDown 1 stands for option A, then an Edit Field (Numeric) is shown to be filled.
If DropDown 1 stands for option B, then another Drop Down is shown for the user choose among its option.
I've had difficulty trying to do that because the tool hasn't allowed me to edit its default script.

      Hi Aydin,
Yes for most applications, for example excel, notepad, txt files work fine. Other application, you may have to convert the data into a compatible format so you can import it to matlab first.
