Cody, have you looked into Castor River Shut-Ins in south-east Missouri? I was there BOTG a couple weekends ago. Obviously didn't find anything, but I still think it's a legit spot to look deeper into. I think the fact that it's nicknamed 'Pink Rocks' is intriguing, and you can get a pretty good image match when photographing the area. I hope others will search there, because I probably won't be able to go back. I live in Boston, so it's too expensive to fly/stay there. And a note on the 'no dogs' sign theory. I think that probably makes the most sense, but someone also proposed another idea. He went to Castor River as well and saw a sign that said no dog training (for hunting). Mabosstiff is the evolved form of another pokemon, Maschiff. Earlier in the chapter, when JCB is describing the idea behind Pokemon, he notes that you "train the Pokemon to grow and evolve into a stronger and more capable form of itself." So the thinking was that if there's no training allowed, then you might not expect to see a Pokemon that only comes about by training. Anywho, just an interesting thought.
Hey Erik! Love these thoughts and solves that you've been sharing. We are excited to take a deeper look into these and plan on covering a couple in an upcoming segment. Thanks for listening!
Nice work!
