So what is he doing out there all by himself when he could he in a bar solciting drinks from his friends and lying to the girls about how much money he has and about how good he is at everything? I have a theory. I think he is Santa Supervisor. Our city is just about where Santa would be this time of year, heading back to the Pole with an empty sleigh and a belly full of milk and cookies. So Surly Supervisor here is out to intercept the sleigh and make poor old Santa go over that list a third time, making sure all the toys were delivered and that the naughty and nice directories were accurately administered. He never shows us the point of interception but I'm pretty sure that's what he was doing. Naw, I take that back. I'm damn sure of it! I believe it!
