Is it still single 4 roller massage mechanism? I some how got the impression they update the MAX to a dual roller system like the Daiwa supreme hybrid.
Great question. The i9 Max Special Edition has the split track with the dual rollers. The regular i9 Max still has the quad rollers. Because if that, we only have the special edition in our show rooms. Dr. W.
Both are excellent chairs. The advantages of the Hybrid is the better full body extension stretch and the stronger intensity of the neck and shoulder roller massage. The advantage of the i9 Max is the leather upholstery, sliding arm rests, arm & calf rollers, and the arm stretch. I hope this helps. dr. w.
@@double_j3867 Good question. They are among the top echelon of massage chairs. There are a number of premium chairs that are in that echelon, including the Infinity Luminary, the Osaki DuoMax, the Human Touch Super Novo, the Synca JP3000, etc. But, these two are definitely in that grouping. I hope this helps. dr. w.

What's your opinion of this chair compared to the Daiwa supreme hybrid?
