    I have been running the dobinsons MRA remote res kit for the past year ... comfort and stability huge improvment over stock suspension.
    Way less body roll.. can adjust for heavier loads or fast tracks/jumps..
    The internals/springs/leafs are Australian quality materials.

    I've been loving my MRR's for the past year and a half on my 4th Gen 4Runner! They're so much smoother than I had expected, plus the adjustability and the fact that they are rebuildable, makes them probably the last shocks that I'll be purchasing! They obviously focused on making a high quality, performance product, over a marketing strategy! Users word of mouth, and experience is the best advertising anyways!

      We actually just threw a set on a brand new 3rd Gen Tundra and will have a video up soon. Even after a just a quick rip around our industrial park and down the highway, we were certainly impressed. Going to be getting a set for our Bronco soon to compare to everything else as well so keep an eye out for those videos.

      Coming soon! We should be nabbing a set for our Bronco which has already been through a ton of options, so keep an eye out for that coming out before the end of the year.

    I like those,. I also need the full length hole to hole and full compressed / uncompressed measurements for nissan frontier 2018

      Sure their standard MRR rear shocks are 22.25" extended and 14.21" compressed. Their standard travel front coilovers are 15.55" extended and 10.4724" compressed and their extended travel coilovers are 16.14" extended and 10.8" compressed

    Nice to see another option out there. Do they have these for 2019 ram 1500s? Their website kind of sucks lol😂

      They released their IMS Monotubes not too long ago, so although the MRRs are not out yet, we are sure they are coming. These DT Rams seem to be a lot more popular platform for enthusiasts than the previous generations, so although we have not received direct confirmation from Dobinsons, we are pretty confident they are in the books.

      Both are definitely being tested, but the MRR is certainly a higher end part than the 6112s. A more fair comparison we are considering would be the IMS as they are both more similar in price and features.

    when you talk about Profenders with reservoir suspension? its a thailand brand with a lot of suspension around the world!! not everything is from Australia or US

    Do they need to be rebuilt every 40-50k miles like kings fox icons?

      Obviously how you use them matters but 90% of people can usually run their Dobinsons for 50-75% longer than most people can their Fox, Icons or Kings before needing service. They use a seal that sacrifices a little bit of durability under extreme temperatures for the sake of lower wear under more normal circumstances, meaning most people will get much more life out of their Dobis than most other options. They also often use OE style mounts and bushings that generally can last longer as well. With that said, if you are a part of that 10% of drivers who are absolutely sending it every time you are behind the wheel, they will probably have a similar or slightly lower service life than the American brands simply due to their more "OEM" style seals, bushings and mounts. Essentially if you are the type of person that gets less than 10k out of your Fox, King, or Icon shocks, you are not going to get any more life out of a Dobinsons, but if you are getting 40k or more out of the other stuff, you will likely get 65-80k from a Dobinsons

      Not really a fair comparison. The 8112s are position sensitive in design and are targeted and tuned for more higher speed off road driving. The 8112s are also a almost double the price so they really are not playing in the same league.

      Not yet,. but they have their IMS Monotubes for the application now. We do not know if they plan on making any MRRs for these trucks, however they would be silly not to. I'm sure if enough people bug them about it, they will get it into their catalog.

      @@ShockSurplus actually im using 5100s for now and im looking for an upgrade im in gcc so we have alot of dunes in winter time im using it offroading but summer days just roads im thinking about profender 2.5" with adjuster iknow its not available in us.. what u suggest as an alternative.?

    I suggest you do the research about the commpany before discussing their origin. They've been making suspension parts since 1953 and their experience feeds from Austrlalian most harsh terrains you can imagne. They are a lot more reliable than Kings or Foxes, which you call "big boys" and give you a lot more bang for the buck. Which brand gives 30k miles offroading before rebuilding the shocks? Fox or Kings can last only 10k! How many people can affort loosing their rigs until their shocks are rebuilt? Don't take me wrong Fox or Kings are good products, but talking about practicality they are far behind Dobinsons. The yare good for racing applications, but it ends right there. IMHO, Dobinsons have perfectly filled the gap for overlanders that use their rigs for daily driving. You can quickly tweak it for daily use preserving excellent ride on pavement and once you're ready to hit the trail you load your rig with 300-400 pounds of cargo, tweak it again and off you go. There is almost no other option out there that gives you that flexibility. OME's BP-51s are close, but more expensive and have their own design/leaking issues.

      If your fox or kings only last 10k miles, then you are absolutely beating the crap out of your vehicle. Additionally, Accutune will tune fox and king shocks to exactly how you would like for free. At that point it comes to sizes of shock body, 2.5 vs 2.25 with dobinsons. Dobinsons can not use a aftermarket spring and require dobinsons springs.
