We certainly have no shortage of sacred spaces here in the USA, but as an OBOD member i always enjoy seeing the sacred sites of the UK. Thank you so much for sharing your journey.

What a truly excellent video. A Sussex Exile here, now living on the border of Co. Clare and Co. Tipperary in also beautiful Ireland for the past 15 years.
So good to be taken on this journey with you. I grew up in Hastings, then lived for 28 years in North Sussex - Horsham. These places were ‘ just down the road’ so to speak.
I was thinking about the Downs yesterday, listening to this on the old AirPods about a place I knew well whilst picking Irish blackberries.
On Monday it will be 15 years since I moved here and in a couple of weeks I will, somehow, be 66.
The timing of this was just perfect.
    Wonderful. Thank you both…well, all 3🐕. /|\

Dave, Cerri & Oscar, really loved this picnic at Cissbury with the Ancestors. Thank you both for your wisdom, teachings, music and musings. So special to hear your personal stories too. I had no idea that wind farms are no fishing zones and have become teaming with wildlife. It brings such hope. Simply Magical listening to you both reflecting about your personal experiences. Cerri I laughed so much when you randomly picked up the worked flint at the exact moment you were talking about them. The views all around are beautiful. Great filming and loved the text information added. Really enjoyed every moment of being guided around such a special place of history and interest. May The Green Grimoire, two Druids and a Dog have many adventures ahead. j

Thank you both for sharing your journey. Beautiful scenery & wonderful chat from both of you. It was very interesting to hear the history of the place & your personal stories. When I walk in either of my local woods I feel a great connection with the Earth - more so since I have begun studying the Bardic Grade from OBOD. I have recently cut a wand from an oak tree that I passed every day & it just seemed the right time to do this & I thanked the tree for this. Blessings to you both & Oscar. 💚💚✌️✌️

Dave, when you got out of your car I was like "My goodness, the man has legs for days!" I'm so used to seeing you on the house concerts sitting in your chair I had no idea how tall you were. And then you said you were 6'3" and had "very long legs" and I mumbled "...understatement..." haha!
    I love these videos!

I so enjoyed this video... beautifully filmed, informative, good banter, and very moving too. You're right about poor wild fruit harvests. Most of the brambles in the deliberately left wild areas in the local cemetery are small and not ripening properly. Looking forward to your next video Cerri & Dave💜💫

We are in the process of selling up with the intention of moving to East Sussex and I am already compiling a list of places to visit once we get there. Cissbury, Chanctonbury and Thundersbarrow are all going to be right up there on my list. Blessed be /|\

Absolutely wonderful! Thank you for sharing your journey, picnic and thoughts with us, felt like I was ambling along with you! Much needed after a day in the office! 😊 I chuckled when it rains you say “the ground needs it”, that’s what I always say to my Husband and it’s usually accompanied by an ‘eye roll’ from him saying, “it’s done nothing but rain lately, I think we’ve had enough”! 😂 Blessings to you both 💚🌳 /|\

Okay so I found myself having one of those mercury is in retrograde kind of days, and then I felt like I fell off my axis, and then I tuned into this video. Such glorious trees! If you can imagine an older woman clapping her hands in delight at what she sees, that would be me when I watched this film. Thank you for drawing me back into the world of wonder with this gem. Sometimes we all need a nudge to remember what's important. Thank you both for letting me visit a land I thought I could only dream about. Personally I liked the cinematography. Well done. Bless you both, and of course Oscar too. Looking forward to what's coming next.
