I think of the TH-camrs, whom I watch so frequently so that I can explore with them, as a family of sorts. Or perhaps I shouldn't mince words. I think of those who are out there doing that which I cannot right now as extended members of my explorer family. TH-cam is a cooperate thing, a business, but I still think it's a new and wonderful platform that is connecting us in extraordinary ways. I can learn and experience SO MUCH by just watching videos such as WESail, and I'm so very grateful for both the TH-camrs and the TH-cam that connects us! And so I feel no reticence in saying, "Thank you," again.
Captivating hypnotic episode of Rai'atea a mystic Polynesian island at the heart of the Pacific triangle. The beauty is unmatchable as you brought us along for another perfect tour.
Your adventures throughout French Polynesia have been incredible, unbelievable, beautiful, enchanting and totally groovy. You have helped us all the slow down, relax and as they say, 'smell the flowers around us'. Stay safe and stay groovy.
You guys produce the best videos of all the sailing channels. One day my wife and I will be ready for this adventure, don't be surprised if we just follow all these amazing places you two travel to.
Another great video guys, great scenery, commentary etc. Besides showing the calm and sunny times you are not afraid to show real sailing life, like up anchor and moving during a storm,,,,just a nice true channel to enjoy
I completely agree with the previous post by Marty Hall, have been saying that same thing for over a year. You really could assemble these exceptional videos into a lecture series, filmography, etc. because they are just that good...Well done!
I loved the history lesson, as well as the local music! having had in-the-ground pig roast (yours looked to be fish) I could almost smell the aroma emanating from the pits!
Keep making great videos guys! You’ve become one of the very best sailing channels on TH-cam. And… Clearly Warren has not been living by Erica’s “Sun’s Out! Buns Out!” mantra. Holy cow! That was a blindingly white backside! 😂😎
Great vid, with dazzling light reflecting off the bum! Ra'iātea (Rangiātea in te reo Māori - Māori language in Aotearoa) is certainly still regarded as a very sacred place here in Aotearoa New Zealand, and is often referenced on formal occasions on and off marae. The rebuilding of the waka tradition across Polynesia seems to have revived the practice of meeting there. So you are really in the heart of Polynesia and it is great to see the effect it has had on you as visitors!
Great episode guys ‼️ 👍 Something I picked up on its that, for an atoll / island, there seems to be well paved roads. It's this common in your travels?? Also, looked like to me, that most of the lightening was high altitude heat lightening by the "in the clouds" pattern. Was that your assessment?? Fun vehicle tour of the island. See you next time.✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝 👙 🌞 ✨
Tell how much to rent a car and same for a guide please. Great cinematography and you story telling thru editing is simply top notch and I watch a lot of sailing channels. Can't wait for next week.
Was that WHOLE powdered milk? For the yogurt? I used to make yogurt from whole powdered milk in Nigeria MANY years ago. I would mix it double thick. So yummy! And made frozen yogurt from it too. Nice relaxing vid. Thank you.
I'm going to order my plans for an Odisea 48 and start building it as soon as it becomes available. When done, those islands will be the number one spot on my list to visit. I wouldn't mind purchasing land on one of those islands but would want to be very secluded and pretty far away from town. I would want a small one bedroom off grid place. That's all I'd need. I'd build it and would have a very nice garden to grow my food.
Not sure how successful ancient sailors truly were, when most of their expedition also perished. Like any civilisation in its discovery phase, it has near failed in the process. That said, some succeeded much much more than others, and therefore perhaps the true example of success.
Lightning on a boat with that huge metal pole at the center of it must be super scary. The Wynns recently made a whole vlog about it (th-cam.com/video/9Wwj3lc3_Eg/w-d-xo.html). Would you guys spend $15k on one these Tesla bulbs on a stick that they talk about, to place at the top of the mast, which supposedly dissipates the charge before it accumulates and strikes?
If my boat got hit by lightning, I would dock the boat and go back to work. No way I could take a hit like that and survive financially. I give a thousand kudos to you guys though. Im that guy that would get run over by a freight train in the middle of the Sahara Desert.

Vaipoiri Vaipoiri. If you get to Ahe’ say hello to Patrick and all the folks at Kamoka

Can you provide recipes for ginger beer and yogurt? (Link?)
