They' have a treasure trove of stuff to use for a proper MTG set. a proper MTg set mind you. not commander. I mean MTG.
I could definitely see some sick anime crossovers happening, maybe not dragonball but something like Gundam or Fate might work, even Cowboy Bebop or GitS could be sick.
they probably not make harry potter because they cant but let me tell you if they ever get an offer i bet u my money my firstborn and my health hasbro would take the offer even if rowling eats publicy babies
Hasbro is a soulless money sink. If the opportunity presented itself, they will pounce on it public perception be damned. They've already shown that over and over again
Games Workshop has their Fantasy line and/or Age of Sigmar. StarCraft is already just a WH40K clone, so maybe instead of WarCraft they strike it up with GW again, and throw out some AoS/Fantasy stuff?
I think proper, legal My Little Pony commander decks are inevitable. Hashbro already owns the IP, and while I don't think they could stretch it to a whole drafy set, that a lot would join in on, commander decks seems likely. Sure some will say that it doean't match at all with MTG, but like... Spiderman doesn't either. Like, at all. Same with Doctor Who. This would be a franchise with a dedicated fanbase, that gobbles most things up that's made for it. And they wouldn't have to pay licensing. It seems a simple, inevitable thing, to have commander decks around that. Could even be like with Dr. Who, taking a focus on each deck, around the main settinf. G4 is still immensely popular, for instance, even after having officially ended.
The bad dragon logo got me, had me instantly in stitches before I even opened the video. Realistically, they have a lot of artwork and stories behind the OC’s that make up the basis for their uh… products, and it would be wild the amount of artifact equipment that could be made for it.
Honestly I'm waiting for some dying/struggling property to pay WOTC to do a UB in hopes of revitalizing interest in it's brand. The ultimate sign of respect on magic's name.
Could you imagine the nightmare that would be to organize just based on the rights holders alone? It would be so amazing but holy shit that would give everyone in a 4000 mile radius an instant migraine
Unfortunately a pipe dream. There's so much legal red tape involved with the series, even with the stuff you wouldn't expect. Sakurai said he had to get green light approval for details as minute as Yoshi being able to close his eyelids. There's a reason why the Smash franchise has practically no merchandise or other media outside the games, the amiibo line being the sole exception.
I think every Universe Beyond prospect should have at least more than one page in world building, Doctor Who and Fallout were already thin. Fantasy will be the better match for me personally, but they also should look for the IP fitting their age demographics. Does not matter if you take cars if children just buy less Magic than the hardcore fans. Any HP crossover will be boycotted.
Talking about tentpole series potential my top 3 picks that are more likely to happen would be... - Star Wars... EASILY could make as much or more money than LotR. It has an insane collector scene, a ton of iconic characters, and has basically endless space to work. - New DCU is coming up being rebooted by James Gunn's creative direction... if that came down the line I wouldn't be surprised if it was huge. - Star Trek collectors are huge and it's a monstrously huge name in pop culture and sci-fi.
I’d personally love to see magic adjacent worlds in UB. I don’t really need fortnite the card game if I can pretend that “solas, worshiper of the sun” was always a magic creature. That being said: World of Warcraft Dark souls / Eldin Ring Elder scrolls Eragon Mistborn Fantasy worlds like that I think would make for the best UB sets
I think they could squeeze value for low cost from public domain IPs like HP Lovecraft or Conan. I’m willing to bet they spent a ton on rights to some of these IPs they’ve been using and might maximize ROI by abusing some public domains. Alternatively partner with best selling authors like King, Sanderson or others as new IPs to use.
I've never actually contemplated the real possibility of a Harry Potter set, because I figured WOTC's desire to brand itself as progressive would override the impulse. But if Hasbro saw the money and told them to... I'm just imagining the very difficult conversations among, say, content creators, many of whom have branded themselves as progressive, not just about whether to discuss whatever the product was, but how to engage with the game itself if it gave JK Rowling probably tens of millions of dollars.
There are actually six infinity stones, there is one on the back of the hand as well. You have almost 250 comments though so I feel like someone has mentioned this...surely...oh well. Great video!
I'd like to see a Vince-diagram of how many of us want a MtG and Thomas the Tank Engine crossover. Me. I want it. [Wurmcoil Engine] printed as Gordon?! Fuck yes!!
Maro did say once that Wizards did reject some IP as unsuitable, and god would I love to know what they were. Probably obscure IPs, but I could see the Wizarding World being in there, rejected not because it is truly unsuitable for Magic, but because too many staff members said "I'm not working on that" It would warm my heart... But they probably only rejected smaller mobile game IPs like Raid: Shadow Legends.
I concur with PK's take on Joanne and HP. I was the kid who grew up reading the books, seeing the moves at the midnight release, dressed up of course. I have watched the Super Carlin Bros HP videos about 4 times each. When shit hit the fan though, I just lost any interest in the IP. The idea of giving that lady another dime makes my skin crawl. I don't even watch the movies I own anymore. It just feels icky.
Big DC guy here too. Grew up with BTAS and the original Teen Titans. Both incredible shows. I used to watch the 1989 Batman movie at my grandmas house and I love reading comics (mostly collected editions these days) and playing with DC hero action figures with my brother. My dad took us to the comic shop a lot as kids. I love Batman and wanna get a Batman tattoo also so I think yours is really cool. I think the only things that come close to Batman for me is Star Wars and Assassin’s Creed so I’m excited about that crossover later this year. The early spoilers literally made my entire day. I actually already have an Assassin’s Creed tattoo and I have a plan to do like a half sleeve on my biceps for start wars with the good guys on my right arm and the bad guys on the left. The only marvel I resonantes with as a kid was X-Men which makes sense as I am gay and have experienced discrimination just for being me. I came to enjoy Iron Man and Hulk as characters as I got older because they explore alcoholism and domestic violence which is intriguing as I’m a psychologist. Same with Daredevil whose an Irish catholic struggling with depression which like X-Men is relatable because I suffer from bipolar but I only figured that out later as an adult. I like UB. So far most crossovers have been IPs I like now or IPs that harken back to my childhood. Love walking dead, lotr, warhammer, and transformers and just like you the Dr. Who decks got me into Dr. Who and now I’m a huge fan of it. For the most part I usually play Tenth Doctor with Rose, Marneus Calgar, Sam/Frodo, and 4-C Aragorn (as lotr tribal, I have a character uniqueness rule for it to fit everyone in). I do like the UB precons cuz u can just play commander with your favorite characters and not have to worry about doing a lot to upgrade if you want to keep flavor like me. Lotr was great because I was able to build two functioning commander decks since it had precons and a whole set to build from. It lets me keep my UB decks in their own universe for flavor. My lotr and Dr. Who decks are completely lotr and Dr. Who skinned cards which is just cool to me in my own opinion. I had to change the Imperium deck a little to support the token theme and make the mana base playable so for that one I kept to non UB magic cards that looked enough like they could fit in the warhammer universe. It’s surprising that there were enough but unfinity being space themed helped since it gave me access to shocks since they were space themed shocks. I also borrowed some cards from the other warhammer precons but they couldn’t visually or have flavor text that deviated too far from the Imperium
Discworld would be my number 1 choice. Plenty of characters to pick from, interesting lore, plenty of artifacts and distinct locations. It's practically perfect for a mtg set. I'd buy every card.
DC and Marvel in the Upperdeck VS System is an amazing example where DC and Marvel were toe to toe with cool decks and amazing mechanics. My favorite TCG, VS system (18 years of ecxperience) , and now Magic is 2nd ! (1 month of experience )
I see a lot of potential in video game IPs. Elden Ring, Dark Souls, Monster Hunter could go hard. they could make a set of Indie Game Commander Decks like Hades, Hollow Knight, Risk of Rain and Terraria. or maybe combine IPs and make a Roguelike deck a Action Rpg deck etc. With good collaboration they could even expand on the lore. Personally I quite like the league of legends lore, especially what the card game Legend of runeterra has done with it. And the card game doesn't have a physical version. ( though Riot Games has pretty much abandoned the game)
Magic is like the 6th most popular TCG in Japan, so I would expect it would noticeably improve its popularity. Japan is a huge TCG market and WotC has been trying very hard to appeal more to Japanese players the last few years with all the anime waifu arts and stuff but I think something more substantial like Final Fantasy will do a lot more.
I am very, very excited about the Final Fantasy set. However, nothing else you named excites me really at all, even Harry Potter which I absolutely love. The idea of paying 4 for Harry Potter, Basilisk Slayer, and using the Sword of Gryffindor doesn't excite me very much as a concept. On the other hand, paying 4 for Summoner Yuna and evoking Shiva onto the battlefield (I think Evoke as a mechanic for all the summon's could be amazing) fills me with joy. That might be because of how I consider and consume the property though. To me, the HP characters ARE their movie personas and the actors who played them. Sure, I read all the books and I've read god knows how much fanfiction, but the movies are my favorite part of HP. Playing real life actors doesn't interest me (it's why I skipped the Princess Bride set despite loving it). There are no real actors when it comes to FF on the other hand. Star Wars I could perhaps get behind because of all the Legacy novels and comics I've read over the years... but only if they included legacy characters like Mara Jade. If it's just the modern Disney stuff, I'm not interested.
With Marvel, Dr. Strange and Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch should be planes walkers. Also, there were six infinity stones: * Space (blue) * Reality (red) * Power (purple) * Soul (orange) * Mind (yellow) * Time (green) With five colours in magic plus colourless, that matches up just fine numbers wise, but the colours don't match.
Purple can be black since purple glowing stuff symbolizes black mana. Yellow can be white (closest thing), but orange I'm kinda lost on lmfao. I guess just say Souls are colorless?
its too bad GoT fell off so hard after the last couple seasons because yeah it would be perfect. It has the depth of lore, a good flavor match, and was reasonably popular at the time.
Magic in a couple of years: I will block your Ronald Mcdonald with my David Beckham. Then I will blitz summon the Flash which will in turn deal damage your Ronald Mcdonald instant speed. Now I can finally crew my Mistery Machine. At the end of my turn I will destroy my Big mac to gain mana...
I would actually like to see a cool MTG x Pokemon crossover. Have iconic creatures like Avacyn, Protean Hulk, etc as Pokemon. Jace and company as trainers. I have to say though as a huge FF fan I'm so hyped for whatever they come out with for the FF set. It could easily be a full set, and I'm super hyped for the commander decks they'll come up with.
Would be interesting to see Star Trek spaceships represented as vehicle planeswalkers. Would be interesting having to crew the Enterprise or something so you can +2 is and fire photon torpedoes: deal 5 damage spread across up to 3 creatures, -1 full power to shields: prevent all damage that would be done to target permanent until the end of your next turn, or something like that idk what a good star trek ult would be but yeah
I think the only Universes Beyond I'd be interested in getting made is a Yakuza/Like a Dragon secret lair and, for a full set, the Eternal Champion series. The Eternal Champion series literally invented the multiverse and a lot of tropes in magic and other modern fantasy owe their existence to the series as well, I think it'd be a fun and flavorful fit with magic.
Eternal Champion was first published in 62. The Flash of Two Worlds was published in 61. Eternal Champion did not invent the multiverse. Neither did the Flash, most likely.
@@alexandredesbiens-brassard9109 I knew someone was gonna be pedantic about my wording. The concept of multiple worlds has existed since the classic greek philosophers, but that concept was never called a multiverse until the Eternal Champion series(which stsrted in a short story from 1961, not with the book also titled Eternal Champion) The term multiverse dates back to the 1890s, but it had a completely different (and theological) definition, where a universe refers to the singular point of view that we humans have, and a multiverse described god's omniscient view of the world. So more accurately, it'd be that The Eternal Champion series coined the specific terminology by merging that definition with that name. All this still doesn't take away from the fact it was the fantasy series that brought the concept to the forefront of the genre and is the largest influence there. Not to mention, Magic borrowed its multiverse with various planes from D&D, which itself got from this series. So no matter which way you slice it, it's still grandaddy multiverse of the fantasy genre.
I think Mordheim could be interesting for commander. Rival warbands fighting in the ruins of a medival city looking for warpstone. Meanwhile the city is ruled by a vampire and there is a darklord in the bottom of the pit whispering to the inhabitants.
They should do a (Heroes) of Might and Magic universes beyond. Who cares about profit, this would be the absolute nerdgasm. Gosh just imagine bringing arcomage to life ;_;
Would absolutely LOVE to see a Warcraft UB set for Magic, that and Diablo, both would make for either amazing commander decks or a draft set. The problem with Warcraft is they already have Hearthstone which is in direct competition with MTG Arena, so that cross over may never happen. Star Trek could work, as commander decks. Not sure how you would divide it up though, between the Borg, Federation, Klingons, Cardassians, Romulans, the Dominion and probably many others that I'm forgetting. DC and Marvel are a given. They will work, and I can definitely see some serialized Infinity Stones (of which there are 6) and Gauntlet. It would surprise me if we didn't see a set of 1 of 1 Infinity Stones. Some IPs that could also work would be Elden RIng, Dark Souls, WItcher, Avatar the Last Airbender, God of War, Halo, Dune, Dragon Ball, James Camerons Avatar
I imagine if a Pokemon crossover were to happen...it would be a "goes both ways" sort of thing. MtG would have a UB Pokemon set and Pokemon would do some kind of MtG IP integration. Or maybe not a UB crossover...I could easily see both companies deciding to do collector sets that are reprints of chase cards in each game with some flavoring of the other game's cards. Like imagine a wheel effect of some kind flavored as professor oak...or a Charizard card in Pokemon flavored to be Shivan dragon. Idk...could be neat both ways.
I hadnt even heard of that Star Wars card game coming out. I'd love to see a video on it! An interesting related note: Weiss Schwarz, the silly anime crossover card game, has a Star Wars set (as well as other Disney & Pixar sets), but it's exclusive to the Japanese card game. Their list of Japanese exclusives is pretty lengthy, and admittedly the English card game has some exclusives as well, but it is interesting that Star Wars didn't come to the West. It's been speculated that another Star Wars card game stopped them, but it could also just be Disney being generally stingy. You shouls check out the Star Wars Weiss Schwarz cards by the way. The art is PHENOMENAL. Some of the best I've ever seen.
There are probably a dozen Anime series that could generate hundreds of millions. Just off the top of my head i can name Macros/Robotech, Gundam, and Goblin, and i don't even watch anime.
One thing I would like to mention, is Lorcana. A lot of the IP's that Disney owns most likely will be held there IMHO. Not all, as we see with Marvel, but a lot of their more family friendly, less violent IP's would stay in Lorcana
As far as Marvel, I believe this deal is with Marvel Comics, not Marvel Studios, so we shouldn't be getting Chris Evans on a magic card. It's not really a deal with Disney.
Batman could be an interesting, draftable set. You could serialize cards and make it another big seller. I'd take 10 or so "main character" cards and serialize them like x/300 and then do a series of one-of-one "treasure" cards and have them be like 10 or so of Batman's trophies that he keeps in the Batcave. Like the giant penny and whatnot. That way, you still get the one-of-one chase, but more chances. I'd go ahead and make it an equipment-heavy set. Bringing back or for the first time to standard some heavy hitting artifacts/equipment.
Interesting that you take it in this direction, I had always thought about identifying smaller but beloved properties without the huge audience. However, that definitely would not be as interesting to WOTC. Some of my Wishlist on UB: Elden Ring/Dark Souls/Bloodborne, Darkest Dungeon, Borderlands, Monster Hunter, game of thrones and a personal favourite Disco Elysium although that admittedly would be a stretch.
They only do them in person. Vince recently had his child born, so I imagine traveling at all, especially across an ocean and a continent to go see Prof isn't possible while he has a newborn.
I am *very* excited for Final Fantasy and especially since they will be able to pull from the older games like 1 to 6, and bring those worlds to life with new art, the possibilities are incredible. It would also not surprise me if we saw an Elden Ring/Dark Souls/Bloodborne tie-in. Especially Elden Ring now that FromSoftware has regained full ownership of that IP.
I wanna see a more fleshed out League of Legends set whether that's commander decks or something draftable, there's definitely enough there. I'd also like to see Mortal Kombat, Soul Calibur, Tekken, just a while bunch more fighting games as secret lairs or their own commander decks.
I think the collectible side of final fantasy is pretty strong in the mtg sphere. If you recall the war of the sparks planeswalker Japanese alts, Lilianna was above and beyond everything else due to the artist being heavily involved in commissions for final fantasy artwork. Atleast anecdotally, thats all I heard and read he was most famous for along with speed racer.
In the event of a Pokemon crossover i could see the Pokemon tcg doing some kind of promos with like different Pokemon dressed as Planeswalkers or other characters from MTG. I think it would pull in alot of people. Also surprised to see a lack of Elder Scrolls representation. I think it could make for at least a Commander product like Fallout if not a full set.
They could have easily made a secret lair Dora for ixalan. Missed opportunity lmao

@@IdlestHands they could just do gen 1 and still have enough to do a complete set. Probably multiple sets.
Imagine a pokemon set with serial cards matching pokemon and their pokedex #. Those would be chased very well
Pokemon is so insane i didnt even thought about, why not at this point? or Dragonball? imagine the 1/1 7 dragonballs
The day I see some 14 year old come in with his Goku Commander deck-
I could definitely see some sick anime crossovers happening, maybe not dragonball but something like Gundam or Fate might work, even Cowboy Bebop or GitS could be sick.
they probably not make harry potter because they cant but let me tell you
if they ever get an offer i bet u my money my firstborn and my health hasbro would take the offer even if rowling eats publicy babies
Hasbro is a soulless money sink. If the opportunity presented itself, they will pounce on it public perception be damned. They've already shown that over and over again
I hate universes beyond, but I’d hate it even more if harry potter got in on it.
No TERFs of Gruul Turf! Crushed it dude.
There ain't no terfs here, never has been
@@michaeld451 as it should be.
I don’t think Warcraft would ever happen as Blizzard has those characters and IP in MTG direct competitor Hearthstone.
Games Workshop has their Fantasy line and/or Age of Sigmar. StarCraft is already just a WH40K clone, so maybe instead of WarCraft they strike it up with GW again, and throw out some AoS/Fantasy stuff?
I can only imagine that WoTC and Hasbro are frothing at the gash about upcoming Universes Beyond sets. We consumers are 2 years behind.
On the subject of the BD logo in the thumbnail, if there isn't an Amon in the party box a month from now that's some sort of crime against humanity.
I would sooner see a Pokemon/MtG crossover than accept anyone saying FF8 is the best Final Fantasy. A MADLAD
Thank you for the quick pushback against JK's bullshit rhetoric. It genuinely means a lot.
I know it was a small blip in the video and not the main focus of either but thank you for being an ally 💜💜💜
First off I would absolutely kill for a counterspell with the roadrunner being crushed by the anvil from loony toons I would so pay for that
I believe that card art would be for Thud.
If Lorcana fails, I could 100% see a Disney Villans Secret Lair.
12 year old me loved Star Wars.
39 year old me FUCKING HATES STAR WARS.
Trans rights are human rights!! Love this channel ❤
let's hope wotc decides to make a crossover with a game called "magic:the gathering" in 2025, so we'll finally get a good in universe Set again
WWE/AEW Wrestling would be a fun secret lair if not set.
Discworld draftable set would be awesome. yes, its fantasy, but distinct enough from core mtg to work i think.
What I liked about the LotR set is that it was not just a bunch of Commander decks, but they also had regular booster packs for us to buy as well.
I thought it was 6 Infinity Stones:
Power, Time, Space, Soul, Reality and Mind.
Postie would have to buy one more stone to assemble the Gauntlet.
Honestly I'm waiting for some dying/struggling property to pay WOTC to do a UB in hopes of revitalizing interest in it's brand. The ultimate sign of respect on magic's name.
Here’s your 200 million set idea; Super Smash Bros Universes Beyond
As someone who got into MTG because my FGC friends taught me FUCK YES
Could you imagine the nightmare that would be to organize just based on the rights holders alone? It would be so amazing but holy shit that would give everyone in a 4000 mile radius an instant migraine
@@Aigis31 it ain’t easy making 200 million dollars lol
I like your picks but star wars is coming out with their own game so it breaks my heart that it may not be possible
I’d personally love to see magic adjacent worlds in UB. I don’t really need fortnite the card game if I can pretend that “solas, worshiper of the sun” was always a magic creature.
That being said:
World of Warcraft
Dark souls / Eldin Ring
Elder scrolls
Eragon
Mistborn
Fantasy worlds like that I think would make for the best UB sets
Oh PK, the only thing that burns as hotly as my furious hatred for UB is my passionate love for you.
Based and milkpilled
One of one horcux would sell packs really well I really hope wotc does do a wizarding world set. I mean they are both wizards
People try not to give JK money when they use iPhones, googling while tweeting from their cars.
Please, don't even.
The real question is: Will Post Malone buy EVERY lottery card? If no, probably less value!
Fuck yes!!
The only UB I would buy
I'm sorry. It absolutely sucks that she had to make all of that money, and shed what little dignity and empathy she had.
Technically you could watch the movies if you pirate them, not giving her any money
@@Oopsall I own them already
I also borrowed some cards from the other warhammer precons but they couldn’t visually or have flavor text that deviated too far from the Imperium
this trans girl thanks u for yr support
Discworld would be my number 1 choice. Plenty of characters to pick from, interesting lore, plenty of artifacts and distinct locations. It's practically perfect for a mtg set. I'd buy every card.
Id love a star trek set. I'd exapecilly love a lower decks deck or secret lair. It made me fall back in love with the series.
Imagine a COD: Zombies secret lair series with a few of the bosses and reprint land cycles with the different maps
A HP set would get me to never buy an MTG card again
Ditto
Itd be wild to have a pokemon SL with like Planeswalkers and a "ace" pokemon. And be a call back to the days of wotc printing Pokemon stuff
I would love to see TMNT in MTG lol
DC and Marvel in the Upperdeck VS System is an amazing example where DC and Marvel were toe to toe with cool decks and amazing mechanics. My favorite TCG, VS system (18 years of ecxperience) , and now Magic is 2nd ! (1 month of experience )
I'm also a DC man, Vince. We're a classy breed.
I'm glad you said your thoughts on JKR, thank you for sticking up for trans rights with your voice 💙
They would absolutely do a TMNT set, had at least two references in Kamigawa Neon Dynasty
Curious what the impact of Final Fantasy being in MTG will be on the Japanese market.
I'm curious how it will affect the Final Fantasy TCG
Also, there were six infinity stones:
* Space (blue)
* Reality (red)
* Power (purple)
* Soul (orange)
* Mind (yellow)
* Time (green)
With five colours in magic plus colourless, that matches up just fine numbers wise, but the colours don't match.
Purple can be black since purple glowing stuff symbolizes black mana. Yellow can be white (closest thing), but orange I'm kinda lost on lmfao. I guess just say Souls are colorless?
If I don't get a Asterix and Obelix set I will be very upset. Like, I'll cry in my pillow of tears for an hour atleast.
Great point on Doctor Who and drafting. Been trying to solve that problem with my DW commander cube
A Song of Ice and Fire/ Game of Thrones/ House of the Dragon crossover sounds like a slam dunk.
its too bad GoT fell off so hard after the last couple seasons because yeah it would be perfect. It has the depth of lore, a good flavor match, and was reasonably popular at the time.
Wheel of Time has entered the chat
Magic in a couple of years:
I will block your Ronald Mcdonald with my David Beckham. Then I will blitz summon the Flash which will in turn deal damage your Ronald Mcdonald instant speed. Now I can finally crew my Mistery Machine. At the end of my turn I will destroy my Big mac to gain mana...
You got me with the bad dragon clickbait you bastard. Well done lol
Now that 40k brings futeristic settings on the table I would love to see Halo commander decks. Unsc, Flood, Banished, and Covenant.
Classic PK win, No Terfs on Gruul Turf! Huge respect for you and other mtg creators who care about inclusivity!
The concept of multiple worlds has existed since the classic greek philosophers, but that concept was never called a multiverse until the Eternal Champion series(which stsrted in a short story from 1961, not with the book also titled Eternal Champion)
The term multiverse dates back to the 1890s, but it had a completely different (and theological) definition, where a universe refers to the singular point of view that we humans have, and a multiverse described god's omniscient view of the world.
I'm looking forward to a card with the voting mechanic called "Pokemon, Go!...to the polls."
*Thanks for the Content!*
I think Mordheim could be interesting for commander. Rival warbands fighting in the ruins of a medival city looking for warpstone. Meanwhile the city is ruled by a vampire and there is a darklord in the bottom of the pit whispering to the inhabitants.
And shortly after this video, the Yugioh x Hello Kitty x McDonalds crossover was announced, Magic missed the boat on that one.
Based PK
I'd buy the FUCK out of a draftable 40k set. Didn't know I wanted it so much until it was said lol
Banger as always! And thank you for standing up for trans people, it really does mean a lot💖🏳⚧
They should do a (Heroes) of Might and Magic universes beyond. Who cares about profit, this would be the absolute nerdgasm. Gosh just imagine bringing arcomage to life ;_;
Would absolutely LOVE to see a Warcraft UB set for Magic, that and Diablo, both would make for either amazing commander decks or a draft set.
Just off the top of my head i can name Macros/Robotech, Gundam, and Goblin, and i don't even watch anime.
a One Piece secret lair would probably do really really well, too bad that already has a successful card game.
One thing I would like to mention, is Lorcana. A lot of the IP's that Disney owns most likely will be held there IMHO. Not all, as we see with Marvel, but a lot of their more family friendly, less violent IP's would stay in Lorcana
Yeah, I dont disagree. I would say main House of Mouse and Pixar are super unlikely for a long time.
Is dies to removal a thing anymore PK ? Or is it well dead ?
They only do them in person. Vince recently had his child born, so I imagine traveling at all, especially across an ocean and a continent to go see Prof isn't possible while he has a newborn.
I find it funny how now we have a crossover with yugioh and hello kitty at McDonald's so magic definitely is a possibility.
25:04 you forgot to link the video!
A secret lair hello kitty Ajani would be funny
The issue with Star Wars is that it is owned by Disney as well, and they would more than likely add it to Lorcana before they let WotC touch it.
Holy hell, if they made an MtG Charizard with the original art, with foil and serialized, it would make soooo much money
No amount of gunblades can make me enjoy the magic system of FF8. 😬
i want Evangelion
The release of the new movie would’ve been the perfect time for it but a Dune set would be obscenely amazing
