Would this work for a porch soffit ceiling as well? Trying to find a way to stain and seal a T&G pine ceiling without a 2 step process...I live in south central Texas.

Used the same oil brother but it didn’t come out as dark as yours. Did you do two coats ?

Did you use any pre stain wood conditioner first? Pine tends to get blotches with regular stains but maybe not with the timber oil.

How does the stain hold up in preventing greying? How does it look now?
It’s holding up good so far, almost a year on one side
Is the pergola stained a different color? We are staining the deck and have a pergola made of cedar not sure if needs to be stained a diff color or will it darken if we stain everything the same color?
The pergola at my other house is not stained. If it’s a different type of wood, it’ll look different with stain, the semi transparent would get them looking close.
Can I paint the fence black shiny like a door ?? Thanks !
You can paint it in a gloss, just prime it first. I’d probably go with an eggshell paint.
