I remember as a young kid that my khala used to listen to this ghazal, after our nana would go to sleep (as he was a disciplinarian) - didn’t understand the meaning then but it did leave a deep impression on my mind enough for me to search and listen to it after about 20-25 years. What beautiful poetry and rendition.

Belaji, you have a very good voice but the music is fast then it is actual pace and so the thehraav which is uniqueness of this song is absent. It feels that both the musicians and you are rushing into completing the song.
