This trailer gives me the chills, bringing back the exact same feeling that the 1979 mini-series gave me. There's nothing quite like a silhouetted figure sitting in the dark, or peering in a second story window with creepy glowing eyes. And the Gordon Lightfoot music is the "chef's kiss." Can't wait to see this one!
They're trying to give her a 1970s look which is when Salem's Lot takes place. A lot of women had that hairstyle back then. Either the classic 70s Farrah Fawcett hair or the bowl-cut like you see here.
@@geoffjoffyyes, but the novel was published in 1975 and that's when the story is set. It's all in the book. Have you even read it? Salem's Lot did not begin with Tobe Hooper's 1979 mini-series. It began with Stephen king's 1975 novel and the story is actually set in 1975, not in 1979. 🙂✌️
I’m with ya. As a guy quite fairly fanatical of the book and OG tv movie, this looks to be treating both with reverence. I’ve watched This trailer probably 8 times now and it comes fully correct with the proper SL vibes. High hopes for this release. Will have to check out Castle Rock!
Its one of my favorite books from childhood when my Grandpa would allow me to read his books when i wanted to. This actually looks really good. No woke bs vibes which is surprising. Im looking forward to this quite alot now.
@@margaretwood152 Yes, I heard about the test audiences reactions but also heard they changed a lot from those reactions. Reviews will determine it's fate soon 🤞

Love Salem's lot book and the original mini series so I'm well up for this remake and hope its actually decent. Looks good so far but will it be?
🧛♀🛀🦇🩸🛁The Trailer might Woo People....but fact is: *_All_* Test Audiences *_Panned_* this Film (Why it was held back & re-shot over 2+ years)
I NEVER get into remakes….this , I can’t freaking wait! I would have paid theater prices!!!
@@sladewilson4354 Ye I'm pleasantly surprised by the trailer looking good considering remakes today.
I'd like to know why the new Susan looks like Velma out of Scooby Doo. That's not how Susan looked like in the previous two Salem's Lot movies.

@@josebro352 Yes but the first TV movie was shot in 1979, the 1970s.

You're grandma sounds cool. It's a great book and very imaginative. And I agree with you no bs from the trailer but good vibes instead.
