Definitely agree with Art as first place. Although I'd personally swap out Longlegs for Pearl. But great list. Love that you chose Leslie Vernon! He's so underrated!
I am with you on entries 6 and 7, but I would definitely not consider Saw or Longlegs as qualifiers for slashers for many reasons (neither film fits in that subgenre. One is more torture prn/trap thingie, the other is more supernatural horror). Or Trick R Treat. I am probably not the right audience for this video, though, as I was not a fan of most of the movies mentioned here that I do think fit. I am also surprised Hatchet wasn't mentioned... if anything qualifies for this list, it represents a slasher tale in the purest form. Do not even get me started on the clown. If I could eradicate that whole franchise from existence, just so I never had to glimpse that face again, I would be happy about that.
I'd probably put The Strangers higher, but awesome choice to include The Man from Hush, he's underrated.
