- Today you’ll watch us create outfits for ourselves completely from SCRATCH! We have absolutely no idea how to sew, but you guys have been loving these #TwinVsTwin videos, so we decided to give ourselves a real #DIY #Challenge! How many of you know how to sew?? 🧵

Generally with these videos, we compete against each other to see who can better style the same clothing items. Today, you’ll watch us both receive the same amount of fabric, and attempt to turn it into a cute outfit! (Originally, we were going to make an entire outfit, but as the day progressed we realized that was going to be WAY too difficult, so we ended up only making shirts… 😂)
We both have a huge appreciation for fashion and clothing, but now we have an entirely new appreciation for the people who design and produce clothing! It was seriously so difficult, I think we’re going to leave it to the professionals from now on! 🙈

I made a shirt like that in my fashion design class in highschool like 7 years ago. It was inspired by a shirt I saw in stores. So it is something you can find.
@@fidelianerina of course you can. But it's just they didn't use any patterns or look up any designs. Normally i love most of what Brooklyn does. But this tank was just that. A normal tank that was too tight around the bust as well. Bailey struggled but really made her top work really well

I feel like this is the problem with all the “Who wore it better?” vids. Brooklyn’s hair is long and a simple colour so it goes with pretty much everything. However, Bailey’s is bright pink and short so it’s harder to match with.

Fashion Designer and huge fan here! Bailey's approach of using another shirt for reference was actually an excellent idea, the only problem is that you chose a knit top (that's stretchy) and not a woven top similar to your fabric :( Despite the little struggles I'm super impressed with both final pieces

Bailey is more fashion forward but Brooklyn’s was more trendy ( is that the same thing?) idk but both were cute.
Here are a few tips
-when ur sewing in an elastic, remember to stretch the elastic as ur sewing it in
-if ur going to take ur measurements from a top that fits u, trace it on the seams and cut the cloth a few inches away from ur tracings and sew on ur markings
I’m not a pro but I sew regularly so I hope this helped
I love how Bailey is straight up about her toe, she didn’t even care if it grosses people out
