K-pop History 101: Seo Taiji and The Kids probably were the most influential/pioneering band that started the whole boy band and girl band trend from the early 90's...except his music was more hip hop and metal influenced and much more rebellious and with sustenance. It was matter of time that bands like H.O.T. and Sech Kids became successful following the Seo Taiji and Kids explosion!!
