- This video features the astonishing and very special Koenigsegg One:1 going absolutely flatout on circuit SPA-Francorchamps! This Koenigsegg One:1 is the worlds first Megacar. This means the car producing 1360 BHP with 1360kgs (World's first car with over 1 Horsepower per kilo). Only 6 production cars were ever built, plus one development car #00.
This Koenigsegg One:1 with Chassis #00 is for sale at SuperVettura in London with an asking price of €6.6 Million (US $7.4 Million).

+Oussama Erraji Well it's the Koenigsegg test driver Robert Serwanski at the wheel and it's their prototype that didn't get sold to customers.
+Patrik Pålsson Actually it was already sold, technically. The prototype had a deposit on it. After Koenigsegg were done with it, the owner would then complete the transaction. The owner was actually there at Spa watching his masterpiece obliterate everything on the track.

3:21, for all who want to drift a car, notice how he does not completely let off the throttle after getting out of shape. He holds it half throttle still spinning until the nose straightens up a bit with the rear. This is one of the main reasons I see rwd wrecks in high hp cars with beginners on the street. It's natural to let off when you feel the rear swing out further than you anticipate, but don't let off completely or you WILL get crossed up and thrown into a spin once the wheels slow down enough to pick up grip.
Well, it helps that the car has electronics probably worth over a few thousand grand just for stability and traction control. But I agree 100% with you.
Filipe Corral lol, I hear you. There is more money in the electronics alone of that car than my current commuter is worth haha. And I'm sure it had something to do with him driving out of it, but with 1300+hp and a $3million price tag , he is probably thankful for the help.

0 to 200 mph, and back to a complete stop in 16 or 17 seconds...UNREAL!! I have NO IDEA how they get 1200+ HP out of a twin-turbo 5 litre!! That's amazing. The Bugatti had a W 8-litre with 4 turbo, and made that in the special version of the Veyron. I've been told it was literally, just 2 twin turbo, 4 litres, welded side by side together, with specialized software and electronic packages to make all the cylinders work as one. But one twin turbo 5.0, with 1200hp?? That's insane...

ttobyg Normally it's a bad thing, because it means it's not putting down power in an efficient manner. But on the other hand, to wheelspin that much you need serious horsepower, and that just shows what the car's capable of. In any case, i'm pretty sure the driver turned traction control off and he's having a bit of fun and showing off. He's not concerned about lap times and efficiency.

I dont know about 440kph, but I clocked a top speed of 395 kph in my Toyota Hilux at the numburg race track. i think i could have reached 400 kph but i was too scared too push too hard because the Hilux belongs to my uncle and i had just got my driving licence a month before that day.

This is a car that you can drive to the track from a thousand miles away, race all day, blowing everything off the track, then drive back home, all on 93 pump gas.
You'll just need to have your fleet cars carry a set of spare tires, 1346hp doesn't treat tires nicely.

The sound this car makes is just amazing
While I just don't find the car aesthetically pleasing compared to other exotics, it does however have, by far, the best looking rear spoiler of any super car out there.

they were going to break the lap record for a production car there and were told to stop because it was too loud. yet I hear other cars being louder than the koenigsegg. 3:53 something fishy about it to me. seems like the track people didn't want koenigsegg to do it for other reasons.

During practice they recorded the sound and the loudness of the one:1 the next day they imposed new sound levels. This was just done to protect the holy trinity and there lap records.
Perfect word brutal to describe this car. My guy is in there having fun dusting everyone and they’re trying to keep up. Probably the best v8 ever built.

I went to a car show in Illinois last year, Saw this car, a La Ferrari, Pagani Huayra, Porsche 918, McLeran P1, All parked next to each other. The Koenigsegg stood out from all of them the most. Such a amazing feat of engineering.
Make more of them, cut the price in half and nobody would ever buy a Veyron ever again lol. It has the looks, sounds like a beast, and is insanely fast and powerful. Simply amazing!

@@rutar2008 in my opinion the Pagani deserves the spot more than Bugatti, only because it is not only an engineering marvel, but an artistic masterpiece, so much so that every part down to each bolt is carved with Pagani's logo, and it is incredible. Not to knock Bugatti by any means, they are also handcrafted, just not to the same extent. I do agree with the Agera RS choice though :)

@XHAD No the Speedtail barely manged it to go over 400kph. The F1 is maybe 12 kph slower but it hasn't any turbos. Also the speedtail didn't broke a record

That's a terrible analogy! There are countless pastrami sandwiches compared to very few of these cars and only one that is the first built. I understand the point you are trying to make but it doesn't apply here as its not a matter of just the cost of the materials, of which they are very high quality! There are hours and hours of R&D and other labour intensive areas needing highly skilled, expensive staff, and the list goes on.... If this car is worth (valued at) $9.000.000 in 3 or 4 years then it could be a good investment.

This is a new automotive standard. Koenigsegg knows the true purpose of a super-car, particularly in this focus. Just look at this vehicle accelerate towards the camera whilst passing those modern sports cars! That in addition to the contrast between the imposing silver paint and evil black headlights is as wonderfully intimidating as a vehicle can be these days.
thats how you drive a supercar, not slow in citys to show off, that owner (or driver), i appreciate them for that driving
