    Behind one winner is a thousand of broken dreams.
    There is a video of how Kenyan select the potential long distance race winners.
    That's quite amazing.
    Young men dedicate their lives to be selected for a prize event while having nothing to fall back on.
    Everybody except the winner goes back to their family and start taking care of livestock when the race ends.
    You'll be convinced that it has nothing to do with the gene.
    It's all about the dedication and sacrifice to the hard training.

    Thompson-Herah is just superb!! Her technique is unmatched & flawless, Compare her to the other ladies, there is absolutely no dents in her armor. Smooth, fluid and relaxed sprinting, Flo-Jo was decades ahead of the field, and now we witness just how genius she was.

    • @JohnD-o-e
      @JohnD-o-e 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This Flo Jo crap needs to stop! What is the reason for Shelly ann being so fast, so dominant, even though her technique is far different from that of Flo Jo's. Elaine was always a champion athlete before this whole Flo Jo madness. The real reason Elaine's top speed was revealed by her then coach, Steven Francis and it he said nothing about Flo Jo.

    • @NevaUndaPressure
      @NevaUndaPressure 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JohnD-o-e You're missing the point and taking my comment way out of context. Athletes such as ET-H, Shelly Ann, Veronica, Merlene, Marita and yes Flo-Jo come along once in a lifetime and leave their mark in the sport which takes generations to match even surpass.

    • @JohnD-o-e
      @JohnD-o-e 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@NevaUndaPressure Am I really missing the point, or is it that I am just tired of the comparison between Elaine and Flo Jo???? There are persons who gives credit to Flo Jo for the what Elaine is doing now. Take note though, Jamaica has given up Asafa Powell, Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Kerron Stewart, VCB and Shelly Ann and none of those athletes used/uses the Flo Jo tech. Fact of the matter is Steven Francis can take an athlete from zero and make him/her a hero. Steven is that great. He is the one who should be praised for Elaine's dominance and not Flo Jo.
      In addition to this Flo Jo praises, it bothers me as why it been covered under the carpet that she was on steroids. That woman died as a reason of taking steroids, but American would want the rest of the world to believe that she never took such boosters while in competition, but she took them in retirement. I am happy that I am able to think for myself.

    Black wine is actually very dark red wine made from specific grape varieties. When poured in a glass it looks very opaque. ... These grapes are called “teinturier” meaning uniquely, they have not only red skins, but dark pink-to-red flesh, whereas most red or black grapes have white flesh.

    Elaine Thompson is my favorite. Because she's amazing, classy, and beautiful. And she's consistently very fast. Gold for her in 2020. :D

    You know lots of Nations of our planet all in one place acting like adults competing against each other winning/losing/participating/laughing/crying/enjoying each others presence and time, and not starting a fight, and not squabbling like very young children , I miss the Olympics.

    Why is it that nearly always the winner is situated in one of the four center lanes, while the runners placing among the four last are often in either the two far right or two far left lanes? Are the top ranked runners always placed in the four center lanes?
