Stephen Chow is the only Director I know who managed to put Action, Martial Arts, Adventure, Comedy, Drama, Romance, Fantasy and Crime, in this one film. Movies generally stick with 3-4 genres. But this one was way ahead of its time since 2004 even today it's an absolute masterpiece. What makes this scene so powerful is that it shows both him being good in the past and being bad in present, a person who wanted to live a good life by helping other people, only to notice that when he tried, he ended up failing when encountering bad people, so he thought the only way to achieve success was to become a bad person just like the bullies, and whenever he tried being bad, there was always that one thing that prevented him from being bad. Another thing I loved about this part was the music fitting in perfectly with each scene. 1:10 you can sense the vibe of the music getting closer as the mute girl tries to communicate to him asking if he remembers her in the past. 2:15 you can see from her childhood hand holding the lollipop transitioning into the present, and the music fits in perfectly which makes this scene hit so hard. 2:56 you can feel the beat drop the moment after he grabs the drink, and his buddy runs away.
Sing tried so hard to be bad but you can tell when Fong started crying that he just didn’t have it in him to be a murderer or a thief. He is intrinsically good.
I think it's more like "He wanted to be courageous and able to protect innocent people but life made him suffer until and he bravely took a stand for that couple who were fighting bald man in the bar, that's when he realised what are his capabilities"
Well most romantic story that me feel all guii inside well the girl was hot otherwise this would have been just too meaningless for everyone 😂 ... following are my favorite: 1.Hunter x Hunter: komugi and the ant king 2.lovely complex 3.kimino todoke (something like that 😂 don't remember the name perfectly) There are many out there but these were the once that touched me deeply ...

Watched this movie when i was a kid thought fight scenes were cool, now 32yrs this scene makes me cry. This movie had everything.
