I don’t see 200,000.00 in cost here.. I would say more like 20,000.00 to 40,000.00 on renovations, and that’s pushing it.. I would say renovations plus equipment and treatment 65,000.00 to 80,000.00 max value .. instead of a kitchen and bathroom. Could have built a bathroom and a vocal booth. Also should have covered most the windows and concealed them in the build from the inside and then darkened them with black tint on the outside so you can’t tell you dry walled and insulated them( less reflections.) missing the higher end studio monitors. The dual Adam A77x pair is about 2,500.00 don’t see No sub in the room. Or any main studio Monitors like Genelec 1238a wall mounted.. minimal external hardware units. Cheap digital console. And I didn’t see a monitor controller.. Room does look amazing. Just don’t see 200,000.00 in value. More like a third of that. And that is giving you the benefit of the doubt that your equipment cost was about 20,000.00 , still think that’s pushing it. Great work tho. I enjoyed the room. Shouldn’t embellish the price tho.. cuz some people know better..
So the first thing you aren't adding is the demo, then the repiping, electrical work, flooring, sound treatment in the walls for a building that size is about 50-70K because he added a kitchen and bathroom. Then you didn't take into account that MAC PRO under his desk and based on the monitors he's running is probably about 50K. What you don't see in the video is the other hardware components, mics, musical instruments and all that could easily round up to that amount. Cuz while you know better you don't know what he brought into that space after the panels and treatment were completed.
He subbed all this out. His remodel alone is most likely 80-100k. Then treatments, gear, outboard and computer gear- yeah.. 200k easily, especially if he lives in FL, TX or CA
Everything is so prohibively expensive these days that it doesn't surprise me that some upgrades on an already existing structure costs as much as I paid for my home.
I love how American's call a 'shed', what we would refer to as a 'house' in UK! A shed is a flimsy thing made out of rough sawn soft wood usually 6'x4' that the roof blows off in a strong wind. I wish we had 'sheds' like that in the UK...
Love your studio man! Hey, by the way what is the name or brand of that stand holding up your computer monitors? I've been looking for something like that to hold mine. Thanks!
You could easily burn through $200,000 on a studio of that level. Contractors for the initial rip-out and re-build. (Contractors with studio experience cost more.) Cabling and electrics. Ventilation. Audio interfaces, instruments and computers. Custom acoustic treatment on the walls and ceiling, and the doors / windows. Whether he will make the 200K back or not is down to his business acumen. Should easily make $5K a month in profits with the right clients and digital product sales. Even more if marketing is done right. All in all it should pay for itself in 3-5 years.
Really nice but why was a shower needed? Bathroom yes couldn't you have converted the space into a vocal booth. Not casting stones just curious of the thought process.

@@diogor420 I thought you have to by the monitor separate on top of the studio storage thing my bad I’m not tech savvy so excuse my ignorance and those two things right there cost a grip way more then a 64gb MacBook Pro don’t they

Yeah agreed this is nowhere near 200k, maybe if hes adding the land and the original price of the shed onto it - which doesn't make sense.
Now THAT'S what I call a home improvement project!
Sweet stuff. Where’s the link to the full studio tour
What u call a shed is a damn whole ass house bro.
Nice build tho.
Love improvement videos, whether major improvements or small improvements it just gets me excited
Just found ur channel hands down on of the best put together videos I've seen for a studio
Amazing space! What is the size of your main room?

Wow. So awesome. Lucky you. Hope you’re enjoying it and that great space inspires you. It certainly should !
Looks dope. If I get my money right I have to get something like that going. Congratulations and I hope you make some great music.

Are you still going to do in-depth video? Please upload. Haven't seen anything from you in a while.
So excited for yas
Definitely came out nice! Great job!
That 'shed' is the size of a $1.2 million house in my city, Toronto.
What studio desk is that?
Great video
Nice work 👍
What an achievement 👍🏻
What’s the dimensions of this control room??
absolutely sick dude

You never did the studio tour

I hate being poor.

200K$ studio : more like 30K. Thanks for the chuckles.
Literally my dream😂
Lovely
niceeeee!!!
$200.000... wow!
Can you build that for me at Greece?
Looks great but what is $200,000? Is that what you spent on the whole build? If so, how is it ever going to pay for itself?

Are you Arthur 2 Sheds Jackson?
Your vid would have been stellar if there were fewer mug shots of you and more of the construction and features. Otherwise very nice results!
great studio good luck with it, but no so good timing with the pandemic
No actual soundproofing?
Where your PC??
crazy
200K? wAS THE MIXER 150K?
That's hardly a shed. How I turned my fully functioning accessory dwelling unit into a space to put $200,000 worth of gear into.
Some shed 🤦♂️ clickbaited us heavy. That’s a small brick home. Rich people problems
first step: HAVE $200000
i am a fan of the prince i was from h is area

My thoughts exactly.
how long did it take to install the rottweiler
I don’t get the shower. Why spend the money. Can’t you shower in your house that 20ft away?
Needs it for cheating 😊
@@tecno8335 lol. Yep it’s worth when you put it that way. Quick shower before you go in your house.
Widh I could afford that
For what a music? 😅
You should have hired Denis Foley. The acoustics in that room have got to be pretty bad, breaking a lot of the rules in there. Good click bait though.
Nice, but...
Smells like a lot of $ and sub contractors.
200 👎
