In the begining of anime the Scub coral already became one with the Earth and in hibernation state. Military trying to destroy it, with the tought it was humanity enemy. If you destroy the scub coral you risk destroying everything until scub coral overwhlemed and fight back. Love story time~ A boy called Renton fall in love to a turquoise haired girl who ride cool red mecha named Eureka. She's a mother to 3 childerns. for renton it must be strage, but knowing that she adopted them to atone for what she did as a child soldier (she kill their parents). The episode when Renton meet the couple Rey/Charles And the episode where Renton meet a guy living in the middle of nowhere with his comatose wife, it's when Renton gets to see true devotion in a relationship looks (maybe it's the first time for my childhood too, lol). Here when Renton realize he doens't really know what Eureka feelings this entire time and then decide to do anything to help her. It's all about Renton's character development. later on, Eureka developing her emotion and realizing that she might have feeling for Renton. There's romace plot that they being together, comunicating, grow closer together, figure things out, and even exprience hardship and disagreements. The real message about this is "Don't force things". Eureka7 is anime that trying to make some authentic statmeent about the real world. The Scub Coral metaphore to our planet Earth, if you don't care to them, it would mean facing destructive consequences of climate change. The Geckostate represent the revolutionary minded youth who are on the right side of history. Vodarack represent people from some religions or race that often treated unfairly. The military or gov? yes, no comment.
And there's Eureka SevenAO which story is placed in another Parallel Universe and Hi-Evoliton movie contain Prequels of the entire sotry of eureka seven. Why Ao is alone, what is the true nature of Scub coral, or what is the Seven Swell etc

After 2 Days , I am back. I just finished 50 Episodes of Goodness. It's like watching a very long Music video. How every bit of soundtrack fits every scene , every emotion. "Bye bye" - the moment A Father Turns into a kid once more.
My all time fav part of the show. So well rounded. The love, feeling, and pure heart that wants to save his soul mate. Wonderful tribute to best family.
I'm also noticing something bout the song. For me, it seems to be one of those songs you don't like or dislike first time you hear. 2nd time better, and each time you hear it it gets better and better. Now I can't stop listening to it!
One thing that you've got to respect about this series is that for a mecha anime, it didn't indulge in the usual super robot bullshit for the most part, saving most of it for the last episode to really amp up an epic finale.
"Second summer love" when hes comrade talk about renton became hero more hero than his father with just simple reason to save the one he love thats make renton badass.
This was a wondetfgul masterpeice. The song itself is great, but coupled with the final episode of the series, its amazing. 5/5, and keep up the good work (instant playlist)

Developing dosen't necessarily mean changing his voice. Renton's only 14 and I'm pretty sure less than a year, or not much more than that passes through out the series so it'd make sense for Renton's voice to be high pitched and stay that way. Besides, he wouldn't be the same whiney little nerd everyone loves him for without it.
