I was born a catholic but became a Christian. One day I was watching TBN and heard Fr Cedric preaching. His way of preaching the Gospel captured me. I can't explain it. All I can say is that it is clear and evident to me that God has anointed Fr Cedric in a powerful way. The Holy Spirit has gifted him to preach the Gospel in a special way. He has written 23 books and i bought all of them. I can't seem to put them down. His books have given me new and inspiring revelations. I have been searching and hungering for God. Our God is indeed an awsome God. I live alone and this is not easy to do in times when there is a pandemic and i have to stay home. But God in His mercy has helped me by giving me all of Fr cedric books. My days are not boring at all. I read my Bible, I am reading Fr cedric books and I watch him preach on utube. I thank God for Fr cedric's ministry.
I just started watching this program. I like DAY STAR TV AND TBN TV. So this morning I was watching DAY STAR or nearly I would not watch a Catholic program as I was raised Southern Baptist but I don’t carry a name day anymore I just say I am a born-again believer in Jesus and believe the Bible.
I usually do not. a Catholic program . I was saved when I was a small young girl probably eight years old and I’m now 80 so that’s about 72 years and I have worked in the word and tried to live a Christian life is always true

I certainly agree that God can speak through the scriptures, however I'm not sure God really wants us to refer to it as God's Word. The old testament is sooo full of lists, (that likely seem totally irrelevant to anyone who isn't an obsessive bean counter), that I find it hard to believe that God would want to claim authorship for it, or for us to attribute it to God. Paul even writes at one point that what he is writing is not on behalf of God, but is his personal opinion, yet despite this so many protestants insist that all Christians must believe that all scripture is uniquely God's word. If we really have a book that is uniquely inspired by God, why do any Christian authors bother to write anything when they surely know that most Christians have never even read the whole bible that they claim is 'His Holy Word' from cover to cover, despite the fact that it only takes about 75 hours at a leisurely pace. If I need a boost or some reassurance, there are many authors (like yourself/Lewis/Sheen/Theresa of Avila etc etc) that I turn to before the bible, because with the bible, you're never sure if you're going to turn to a story of some barbaric act that is claimed to be endorsed by God. If God directly spoke the universe into existence, why isn't that considered Gods's word more than the bible that at-best comes through several layers of distortion? I also thought that Jesus was the Word, and Jesus is not the bible so what's going on there? I expect that people who have insisted that this dogma is fundamental and necessary to be a 'real Christian' have turned many intelligent people away from the Christian faith.
