Great podcast guys. Want to share a couple of things: There's a fine line between playing well and peaking at the right time like late March / early April. In my book you still need to play well and be consistent. The Panthers are not playing well and definitely not consistent. I know Maurice has said that there' only been a couple of periods he hasn't been pleased with since Christmas. And to expect a lot of tight one goal type of games. Frustrating through the eyes of being fan but I trust in Maurice - there's a reason he has been a head coach for 27 years. The other point is I think it's too early for a trade. You want to wait until teams are selling. I think right now the price would be too high for a marginal return. You want to get at least equal to if not more than you are giving up. Playoffs are a new season. Really would like to see them shine.
@@FloridaPanthersDen Solid points. Consistency hasn’t been there this season, but upper talent is getting them through it. Maurice has proven it (Kirby & Cody stuck by him though thick n thin). I get wait on a trade closer to deadline, but deals are happening now! Can’t wait to make the splash always especially when it comes to building that chemistry early. The cap situation is the tricky part pre March
@@nerinamak3298 Appreciate it - with schedules it doesn’t always line up weekly… but we go live every post game and TH-cam new content coming soon ! Check out film sessions in the meantime
I think every time Lundell has gotten the call to replace Barky in the lineup Lundell has been challenged to skate in his spot. And almost every time he has risen to the occasion! He has already developed a quick chemistry with Chucky in limited minutes over time. Losing Benny is not easy nor easily done but will be necessary in order to sustain as a Cup contender
We can’t just let Bennett walk for free.. is not guaranteed we’re even making it out of the first round the way we’re playing right now.. Bennett has to be traded for a top D …player for player deal…

A hockey trade if he is moved … exactly!
