There are so many others, and in psalms and proverbs. The bible is so saturated with God desiring mercy over sacrifice and all that I ever hear anyone say is that we are not saved by works. But I'm sure you are well aware of what James had to say about that!
Also when the angels went to Sodom and Gomorrah to judge them, they appeared as men and provided the litmus test by lying down at the gate, Lot passed, by not only inviting them into his home, but insisting because they had at first refused!

My ex boyfriend took his own life in march last year. This song in slowed and in original reminds me so much of him, because he really turned my world around, in any way possible. For the better one day.

I discovered this song 3 years ago on SoundCloud. I can't tell you how much this song helped me in preserving my calmness on the bus ride to school. Then I had to shift States and I completely forgot about this band. This appearing randomly on my youtube feed right now brought back so many memories. I closed my eyes and suddenly I was back in the bus, sitting at the back and bracing myself against the bumps and feeling the beads of sweat run down my chest. I have to start listening to your albums!!

You guys never cease to amaze me. Every song, every lyric, it's obvious you guys pour your hearts and souls into really figuring out the truth behind human pain. It's often a reminder of the beauty in pain and the endings that there's absolutely no stopping.
Thanks to you guys, I realized something, too. They say that pain helps us grow, but I don't think it's that at all. I think what helps us grow is the support we find along the way, in other people. From hands that reach out, that we, blinded by the pain, may not even see at the time. That we maybe only realize the existence of, after the fact, and choose to learn from them and become a reaching hand for someone else, later on.
I don't think I ever would have found the strength I have today, if not for the little things I've learned from your music. Thank you for choosing to walk a path of helping those you may never even meet.
