Sir, Is Japanese language required for studing in Japan? I want to do Master's in AI so is there any Japanese language or English language exam in the selection process? And do i have to apply for admission in college before selection or after clearing the mext?

Now in placement preference form, I have to write the same name of the professor or can I change and seek a letter of intent from a professor of a better university in meanwhile.
