An actual train prep for the 143 + Dostos takes about an hour in total (I'm no expert but that's how long it takes for the train to be safe to drive).

When it comes to speeding up the train you go to the rear locomotive and accelerate through there

For these German Bombardier trains, you actually need to hold the brake on release position when you open up the throttle, hope this helps!
