It's cool how Galacta Knight's been developed since his first appearance here--from being a wish by Meta Knight to fight the strongest warrior in the galaxy, to (finally) having his backstory fleshed out a bit as the "Aeon Hero" in Super Kirby Clash. Especially his "Dark" form and a certain needle-shower attack he uses (in what's probably the most insane Galacta Knight battle yet).
Also bear in mind, the Magolor Epilogue from Return to Dream Land Deluxe has pretty much confirmed the Kirby Clash series as canon. Which means Galacta Knight's appearance as Aeon Hero is canon.
The way this fight sets itself up is just so brilliant. The way meta knight flies down towards the asteroid as the guitar strings hang on their notes is just so epic
I always loved the original more than others because at 0:11 you can hear that high pitched melody more distinctly, and it really adds to the overall theme for me
He somehow gets stronger each fight despite spending all of his time locked up in a Crystal, and is most likely heavily disoriented before each fight. I’d love a fight with him at his true power, although I’m fairly sure it’d be unwinnable since he’s the strongest warrior in the galaxy.
Super Kirby Clash gives us an idea of how powerful he really is: on top of powering up at half health like he normally does, he also demonstrates two even more powerful Light/Dark forms as "Aeon Hero" and in both forms he can power up _even further_ when he hits half health again. You've got four Kirbies working as a team against him, and it's still an uphill struggle to beat him. In other words in every fight in the main games Galacta Knight isn't even taking us remotely seriously.
I love songs like this cause it's straight *Metal \m/* but it's for this angelic looking dude that just doesn't talk, the contrast just gives Galacta Knight so much more personality like this the real him expressed through music

Galacta knight is still a pain. He is always jumping so floating above him to then attack is really damn hard. You also gotta be prepared for when the minions show up, cause they might be walking right where you are staying as a rock, and cause some damage.
I heard someone state this track becomes more intense with every remake, and they weren't wrong. We know how much sakurai loves metaphors, maybe this is a metaphor for galacta returning stronger than before every time we fight him, or a metaphor for his growing rage... I feel like someday, galacta knight will be a very, very threatening antagonist to a kirby game.

@@theendersmirk5851 Hammer swing has i frames, hammer flip deals heavy damage that essentially nullifies a good amount of bosses, standing attack allows you to sneak in some quick damage if you don't have time for another hammer flip (or where charging one would spend more time), giant swing is a safe option provided you're careful, and you've got hammer twirl starting in Return to Dreamland allowing you to dodge without needing to initiate a dash. Even getting rid of it is an attack with hammer throw (which is really dumb in milkyway wishes). High damage, on demand invincibility, and safe damaging options give hammer high utility. The only downside is that it's a rarer ability outside of arenas, and that it can make things a bit too easy at times. Anything's fine though, as long as you know how to use it. Except mirror.

I remember expecting some big new boss battle to replace Marx when I first started the Milky Way Wishes section of Meta Knightmare Ultra. And yes, the description plus appearance of Galacta Knight did _not_ disappoint.
There's something about this version of the song that I feel that the RTDL and Planet Robobot remixes lack, I think it's that they lean less into the pure metal that this version does
this is the most imposing of the Galacta Knight themes at the start it sounds like sirens are going off and the DS sound quality just gives it some intensity that's not in the other versions

I remember expecting some big new boss battle to replace Marx when I first started the Milky Way Wishes section of Meta Knightmare Ultra. And yes, the description plus appearance of Galacta Knight did _not_ disappoint.

There's something about this version of the song that I feel that the RTDL and Planet Robobot remixes lack, I think it's that they lean less into the pure metal that this version does

The original tends to be better than remixes, it's to be expected.
this is the most imposing of the Galacta Knight themes
at the start it sounds like sirens are going off
and the DS sound quality just gives it some intensity that's not in the other versions
that intro always hypes me up, as if an entire universe is heading your way, befitting for a powerful character like galacta.
