They missed the mark here, totally. They need to use the drones for what drones are good at and heavier machinery to do the cleaning. The drone should be used to attach anchors to the top. Once the anchor points are fitted the drone lands and the cleaning machines use the fitted cables to lift the heavier cleaning equipment up for cleaning. Once done, the drone can reconnect to the connectors and release them bringing the cables back down.

The roof would likely be pre-drilled or have some kind or ring set up that could be easily attached to. The crew would show up, fly the cable up the roof using the drone and use an automated washer robot attached to those cables. That way they could greatly increase the flow and pressure against the window.
